Sometimes you come across a company that has a bit of personality to it. In a sea of “nounhousts” that often seem clones of one another, it’s fun to find a company that has a bit of personality and an interesting history. This is the case with Little Creek Hosting.
The owner started as a bricklayer. As in manual labor in the hot sun. Back in 1998 when the web proper was just taking off, he started dabbling in web design and by 2001 he’d stopped laying bricks and was hosting web sites out of a garage datacenter.
Fast forward 20 years and Little Creek is hosting in Tierpoint’s Tier III datacenter in North Carolina, USA and they have a support team in Richmond, Virginia to manage the operation. As the old Virginia Slims cigarette commercials used to say, you’ve come a long way, baby!
For this offer, they’re bringing us some very nice OpenVZ and KVM offers. They also do shared and reseller hosting (Direct Admin).
If you’re looking from a small organization that has deep roots, lots of experience, and will “do anything to keep clients happy,” check out Little Creek Hosting. And if you do, be sure to tell us about your experiences!
Their WHOIS is public. You can find their TOS on their website and you can pay with Credit/Debit Card or Paypal.
Here’s what they had to say:
“We are based in the US. We own all of our equipment and lease a cabinet in one of Tierpoint’s tier III data centers in North Carolina, USA. We give you friendly, personal customer support. We try to know you by name. Each client is important to us. Whatever it is, we will do our best to satisfy your needs. We have been doing this for about 20 years and have a vast amount of practical experience.”

Sorry there was a little typo on my part. Test IPv4: 216.27.27.30
Floyd,
I hit a MM error on this purchase. When you get a chance please take a look at ticket: 842799
Respectfully
Tara
Floyd,
Thank you, that was quick
Andrew – There seems to be a typo on the 4GB KVM – it should say 60GB (not 40 – at least according to click through).
Floyd – Neither the 2 or 4GB KVM seem to have the yearly price the article mentions (just the monthly), and the configuration panel uses the term SSD not HDD (but this posting and the host-node specs have no mention of solid state drives, so I imagine they are drives not transistors)
Finally, what’s the deal with OS choice? You can choose any OS you want as long as it’s CentOS 7? (No Ubuntu, Debian choices?)
Yes you choose that for the setup. Not sure why but once you are in you can choose multiple flavors of linux.
Rats. I did it again. The test ip is 216.27.29.30. Its the same as the test download.
I jumped on KVM 2GB RAM deal and I would have to say it is blazing fast and the newbie support questions I had were quickly responded to. I am pleased so far
