Go-VPS-Go - $7 320MB Xen VPS in Los Angeles or Kansas City

Go-VPS-Go Terii from Go-VPS-Go has updated me with their existing LowEndBox offer. The same $7/month Xen VPS is available in either Los Angeles or Kansas City, when you use promo code BG30PER at checkout. You also get double the monthly data comparing to the last offer.

  • 320MB memory/256MB swap
  • 12GB storage
  • 300GB/month data transfer on 100Mbps
  • IPv6 available in Kansas City
  • Xen/SolusVM

Direct sign up link for Los Angeles CA (WebNX) and Kansas City MO (Wholesale Internet). Do note that they do pro rata of the first month. Their earlier offer, $7/month 512MB Xen VPS in Scranton should still be valid. Go-VPS-Go is now also offering pre-sale enquiries to Chinese prospects.

Go-VPS-Go was launched in February this year, and Terii is based in Austin TX.

  2. Wonder how much demand companies who get featured on here receive for support in foreign languages..

    • The demand is decent. My previous venture were made up with majority of Asia clienteles – they were mostly not from here though. You’ll be surprised by the amount of lurkers on various other forums. :)

  3. Just had a look at Google Analytics data for LowEndBox.com. Segmentation of visitors by country of origin:

    1. USA
    2. UK
    3. China
    4. Canada
    5. Germany

Number of visitors from China is actually Canada + Germany combined so I presume there’s a significant market there, especially considering this blog is primarily targeting English readers. But yeah, VPS hosts providing Chinese support might be a wise thing.

    • @LEA: You sure those are not due to the automatic website scraping tools? :)

      • I wonder how much of that Germany is me coming through my VPS.

Most of the scrapers we see are Germany based.

        • Speak of the devil….

Netdirect was one of the companies I was thinking of. Had one of our clients who hosts a social networking site notice that they’re getting scraped from a fresh IP address that we hadn’t noticed to be a part of their space previously.

          heh Blocked now.

A license is needed to establish a website if the server is located in China and the procedure of the license application is complex and difficult, this is the chief reason why Chinese always buy a US VPS.
