HostChunk - $6.95 512MB OpenVZ VPS

HostChunk Via this WHT offer. HostChunk is an Australia-based business that I can’t seem to be able to find business registration on the National Name Index. It does offer VPS from $6.95/momth though. The GobStopper package comes with

  • 512MB guaranteed/1024MB burstable memory
  • 20GB storage
  • 1000GB/month data transfer
  • OpenVZ/vePortal

Test IP address points to HostNOC/BurstNet, who have servers in Scranton PA. Yup. Another BurstNet reseller at $1/month dearer than the same plan from BurstNet. Domain registered December 2009. It does have a rather expensive “Abnormal Support Incident” at $70/hour. Maybe that’s all the VPS resellers survive?

cPanel is $13.95/mo and the price they’re charging for bandwidth is the same as Burst’s if I remember correctly. :)

  5. Burst’s bandwidth meter is messed up anyway, so they don’t bill for extra bw.

Yes they do, They monitor VZ bandwidth ‘3rd party’ since vePortal doesn’t know how to fix it. Or are just to lazy.
