I have been using these guys for several months now. The server is fast and is as advertised/promised. Would recommend.
Hi,
Thanks for choosing HostedSimply and for your recommendation

Hello Peter.
Dedicated IP or shared?
How many IPv4 for one vps?
How much are additional IPv4?
5 IPv4 can be allocated to one VPS?
Can you offer the same config, for the same price, but with a PURE SSD of a smaller volume? For example, 60GB RAID10 Pure SSD.
Hi,
The IP addresses are 100% dedicated and each VPS comes with one. Additional IPv4 can be assigned for $15/year each
Regards
Peter
Why did you ignore the rest of my questions?
+1
Very good VPS
Owner is friendly and support is fast.
Hi Michael, thank you for your business. We appreciate it.
Regards
Peter
Shared IP or dedicated IP?
Also any restrictions or gotchas?
100% dedicated IP! No catch :)

Peter
What performace should we expect from 1 vCore?
Hi,
It won’t be bad at all! We use the Intel Xeon E3-1240v3 processors (or better), you can research benchmarks for that CPU, they do bench pretty high

Peter
what the kernel version is availabl? Can you run docker?
Hi Judd
We run the latest version of the RHEL6-based OpenVZ kernels
Regards
Peter
everything works very slowly. trying to install vesta cp for more than 2 hours
I addressed my problem to support. Helped me, now the server started to work much faster.
Hi Oleg, I’m happy to hear that.
Thank you for your business. We are available 24×7 if you require any further assistance
Regards
Peter
In what location did you have problems ?
No problem. Work perfectly. I was wrong. You will not be able to install Docker on such a VPS. And I bought a server to learn how to work with containers. But it was my fault.
Why i cannot open HostedSimply ?? anybody face this issue also or only me ?

Is this offer still available ?
Along the way, no one here is going to answer our questions. It’s been almost 6 days. We must take the server elsewhere.
Is it interesting there are normal hosters? Constantly and everywhere there are problems. Maybe the owner of lowendboh need to think about it? Maybe you need to put user loyalty higher profits?
Ordered one of these annual plans and the kernel was too old to support what I wanted. Support was quick to tell me that, but billing has not replied to my request for a refund after canceling within 6 hours of purchase.
Update: My billing ticket requesting a refund was closed without reply and I have not received a refund. I paid for 1 year of service which I canceled immediately(as soon as they replied to my support ticket) after realizing it wasn’t going to work. I have no server and no refund.

Same here!
First time asked Paypal to refund and I got refunded within 3 days.
Second time, they kept charging my CC despite opening support tickets telling them to stop!!!
It’s been 2 weeks+ now, and got a vague answer , no money was refunded yet.
I have SS proof of everything here.
A lot of OpenVZ hosts seem to use ridiculously old kernels (2.6 series). Maybe that’s an OpenVZ thing, but it’s very annoying, as Debian buster/testing doesn’t run on any kernels older than 3.10 due to its glibc version dropping support for old kernels.
If you want a newer kernel, you’ll likely need to use a host that uses machine virtualization such as KVM, or containerization that supports newer kernels (like LXC)
It’s an OpenVZ limitation.
I have found that most who claim KVM aren’t actually running KVM.
I have had them for a few months and this is how I have reviewed them:
Pros: Fast response
Cons: Responses are not clear and require additional follow up multiple times or ignored
VPS is not stable and goes down frequently, also laggy
Every request I have submitted I have gotten a non-answer answer. Asked for a refund and still waiting for an answer, it’s been 11+ days now. Ignoring your customers is petty.
They sent me an update saying the request has been fulfilled but still do not see the refund, sent another request asking where it is and now they want to move me to another server to resolve the issue, so as of right now they are avoiding giving me a refund.
In all reality they should have offered me this when I was having the issue and a day later NOT 2-3 weeks later.
DO NOT GET A VPS from these scam artists.
hi, is the port 25 open for email service? and a configurable reverse_DNS? thanks
Yes but this seems more like a support question reserved for a ticket to the provider.
They do not but most do not and I would recommend using CloudFlare.
Hello together,
I ordered this server a week ago.
The transfer speeds aren’t sufficent, I opened a ticket, immediatly.(#550314)
The port was upgraded, but without success.
Asked for a refund, no answer.
Canceled the services, no money, opened another ticket, was closed without answer (#441980).
No I have lost my money and my VPS.
Maybe Peter or some other HostedSimply guy could help here.
Thanks!

Do not take a server from them! The support is fast and that’s it. Otherwise one waits days, in vain, and comes out on the same – NOTHING.
Stay away from these guys. My server is down for more than 10 hours. Opened a ticket but no solution…
Going on 2 weeks with this vps and i must say out of the 6 vps i have with other company’s this one is the best.
i would recommend to my family and friends. and will prob be getting another real soon.
I have had no issues as of yet. will update this post at the end of month 2.
