  1. By far, one of the best low-cost providers out there, and we regularly test lots of them. http://nerdvittles.com/?page_id=29839

    • Tried ordering one VPS account. Seems their billing is not automatically detect my payment via Paypal. Successfully paid via Paypal, but invoice status is still in “Unpaid”. This is not a good beginning experience.

  2. Erik Ashfolk:

Hi , what do you really mean by “2 CPU Cores” ?
    does is it mean 4 intel-threads ?
or, is it just 2 vCPUs/vCores of Intel-microProcessor ? if it is, why didn’t you use “2 vCPU” or “2 vCore” or “2 intel-threads” ?

what PERCENT of computing-power of per THREAD/vCPU/vCore is allotted/provided with this vps deal ?

    ( ** “Intel” microprocessor uses 2-threads aka(also-known-as) 2-intel-threads or 2-vCPUs or 2-vCores for per 1 hardware Core . And 1 hardware/physical CPU/microProcessor has multiple (internal) hardware Cores . And usually 1 server-motherboard has 2 or more hardware/physical CPU/microProcessor . “v” is “virtual” . So if one intel-microProcessor has 6 (hardware)-cores, then it has 12-threads (or 12-intel-threads) or 12-vCPUs or 12-vCores ** ).

    cpu passthrough enabled/included ? cpu aes enabled/included ?

is it possible to include one IPv6 /64 NET/range with this plan/deal ?

    ( ** one /64 IPv6 NET/range has around 18-quintillion (18QN) IPv6-addresses . 1BN has 9 zeros aftr 1, 1QN has 18 zeroes after 1 . According to IANA/IETF/etc an end-user should have a minimum /64 IPv6 net/subnet , and standard recommendation is /48 net/subnet for business end-users & /56 net/subnet for residential end-users **).

    if you can’t include a /64 IPv6 NET, then, Can you include 30xIPv6 ?

    IPv4 or IPv6 address’s “PTR”/RDNS setup is done/possible thru/via your VPS management Panel ? or customer have to open support-ticket ?

( ** IPv4 was/is limited, so only 1 or very-few were provided for a VPS , so manually setting-up IPv4-adrs’s “PTR”/RDNS 1by1 was OK , But a /64 IPv6 NET’s IPv6-address amount is HUGE…HUGE (18QN-IPv6-Adrs) . IPv4 projects reuse only 1 or limited number of IPv4 , but IPv6 projects use multiple/many-many IPv6es . Setting-up IPv6-adrs’s “PTR”/RDNS via support-ticket is not going to work for IPv6 based projects . Even manually setting-up IPv6-adrs “PTR”/RDNS 1by1 in a VPS Management Panel is not going to work when a IPv6 based project/business need to setup “PTR”/RDNS for hundred to thousand of IPv6 users hourly/daily/weekly , it has to be done via vps-customer’s server-apps/scripts itself . So VPS Provider need to provide : either (option-1) “NS”-pointer (toward the customer’s DNS-NameServer which will have to run inside the provided VPS) , or (option-2) API-SUPPORT for VPS’s server-apps/scripts to allow to setup IPv6-adrs’s “PTR”/RDNS instantly , or (option-3) Allow vps customer to Manually type-in & setup IPv6-adrs’s “PTR”/RDNS via (VPS Provider provided) VPS Management Panel (in that way at-least small IPv6 based projects can work) ** ).

is it OVZ7 or KVM based VPS ? full root access available to customer ? debian 9.9 64bit minimal (or higher) available ?

    EXTRA NOTES:
    * VPS (virtual-private-server) , is a SERVICE-instance, & provided /64 IPv6-net is a resource, etc, and all of those remain with you (VPS-Provider) , inside your own DataCenters/Servers ( or in your upstream-service-provider/USP’s/ISP’s DataCenters/Servers ) . A remote Client/Customer/User with a remote access into that VIRTUAL-server in your DataCenters/Servers/premise , cannot take your provided any service/resource away from you & move into another service-provider/location . So adding those 2 lines of (NS & CNAME) dns-records in your DNS NameServer is NOT A REAL DELEGATION or SUB-DELEGATION . You did not really transfer (full) control of your service+resource to another person/entity who can or able-to move-away from you with your provided resources , into another location (or with another VPS-Provider) as their own service/resource . Adding those 2-lines of (NS, CNAME) DNS codes (or adding PTR/RDNS DNS-Codes) is just a temporary attachment of a service+resource for the sake of providing SERVICE for a VPS(virtual-private-server) which remains with you inside your own DataCenters/Servers . But we named/call it “DELEGATE” for the convenience of identifying it’s functional (partial-)similarity , but in reality no real TRANSFER occurred , no real DELEGATION occurred . You are merely/simply providing/adding / attaching few service(s)+resource(s), etc in your/provided VIRTUAL-server SERVICE-instance inside your own DataCenters/Servers , for a remote Client/Customer/User with a remote-access . This allows a remote client/customer to setup/add “PTR”/RDNS, etc various DNS records for the any of the provided IP-address, by client/customer themselves, inside the provided VPS, and setup/modify the service instantly with any desired/necessary TTL(Time-to-Live).
    * When (domain-registrar’s) DNS-NameServer-1 points a domain-name’s forward-lookup zone toward another DNS-NameServer-3, OR when (IP-address-range (aka “net”, “subnet”, “block”) owner’s/VPS-Provider’s) DNS-NameServer-2 points an IPv4/IPv6 address-range’s reverse-lookup zone toward another DNS-NameServer-3 , then DNS-NameServer-1 & DNS-NameServer-2, both serves/handles much much less (forward & reverse DNS lookup/answer) DNS traffic/packets which are (configured-to-be) served/handled by the DNS-NameServer-3 for the specific domain & provided IPv6/IPv4 address-range . And less DNS traffic/packet means that DNS-NameServer-1 & DNS-NameServer-2, both consumes/uses / handles/serves less DNS data , So DNS-NameServer-1 & DNS-NameServer-2, both also pay less $ for total data used . Client’s/Customer’s DNS-NameServer-3 serves/handles it’s own + (almost) all (forward+reverse) DNS traffic.

  7. I ordered their $22/year VPS on last Saturday, but untill now they haven’t process my order. I’ve paid via Paypal, but the invoice is still in “UNPAID” status. Their support staff is suck! I’ve waited for more than 48 hours but no response.

    June 25, 2019 @ 2:06 am | Reply
    • It has been four days, and still no response for my complaint on their client area. I think the only better way for me is to take back the money I paid via Paypal. I’ll wait till Sunday, if they don’t deliver the service I’ve paid for, I’ll contact Paypal. So guys, if you think you’re interested to order the VPS, better think twice.

      • – Invoice still “UNPAID” after payment. Payment processing should be done automatically.
        – No response for 48 hours

For me this is not a good sign. If I were you, I’ll file a dispute on Paypal before it’s too late.

        • A bit frustrating actually. Maybe I’ll just use this VPS as a backup only.

I have other VPS account which has been about two years on other provider. At first I thought I would replace it with this new one on hosting73, but now I learned the lesson.

      • Okay, the service has been delivered today after days waiting, and now I’m setting up the VPS as a webserver. I’ll review more about this later.

    • Okay, today the service has been delivered. I’ll come back with my review later.
