“HostMist – $5 256MN”, corrections needed… you wrote MN instead of MB
Thanks for the listing Low End Admin :)
Bit odd that they have their main corporate site ‘hostmist.com’ on the same server as some of their clients?
http://viewdns.info/reverseip/?host=hostmist.com
This might be a stupid answer, but could it be that it’s some sort of a “failover hosting” just in case the main node where they’re hosted gets any problem?
support is good, never had a problem with them, i had 2 vpses for some months in WA.
Yes our main site is hosted on the shared / reseller server. It takes about less than 5 minutes to move it around (or anything using the DNS cluster).
Does that mean your cusomter data is stored on this machine as well (as is the case with most standard CPanel setups)?
Guys, your client section is not working. And – what is much more important – you can NOT send support ticket because of that!
I’m aware of the issue and already am working on it. Just happens to be a DOS attack and if you need support, you’ll use any of the alternatives (e-mail, MSN, Twitter, Skype) while this is being restored.
Everything else is up.
It should be back online again. For now, use the non SSL version until I can move it to a more permanent location with the SSL certificate re-issued.
The helpdesk was restored back to normal, the SSL version should work once again.
