LowEndBox - Cheap VPS, Hosting and Dedicated Server Deals

IonSwitch Exclusive VPS offer: 512MB KVM starting at $22.50/yr!

Hey guys! Today we have an offer from Nick over at IonSwitch that we’re pretty excited to be able to post. IonSwitch has been featured here a few times and has always received good reviews. They’re a registered company in Delaware (USA, #6377101), their WHOIS is public, and you can find their legal docs/ToS here. They accept  PayPal, Credit Card (via Stripe), Bitcoin, and Alipay as method of payment.

What makes this offer/these offers special: NVME Drives! We are just now launching our latest product offering which is VPS’s with NVMe Drives. With reads/writes over 1GB/s, we have some of the fastest drives on the market. Premium hardware, network (Telia, Cogent, Wave, Internap, and peering with 100+ networks on the Seattle Internet Exchange), and free IP Announcement and BGP sessions.

In their own words:

“The IonSwitch team consists of multiple professionals who are heavily experienced in the network and hosting field. We offer a fairly uncommon location in Seattle, WA (at least in the low-end space), with premium fully owned hardware and a very premium network at a very competitive price. We operate our own BGP Network (AS395970), which consists of Telia, Spectrum (Wave Broadband), Cogent, Hurricane Electric, and direct peering with over 100+ providers on the Seattle Internet Exchange, some prime examples being Google, Amazon, TELUS, Dropbox, Google, and many more!”

About two months ago, I’ve sent you a message through the ticketing system that your Looking glass IPv6 does not work. It still doesn’t work. When are you going to fix it?

    • Shinobu,

Sorry about that! We’ve resolved the IPv6 configuration error, and we have confirmed this is working once again. Let me know if we can assist with anything else!

      • Shoot me an email with your traceroute — Looks like theres some congestion. We monitor our speed from a number of different networks (generally fellow LEB providers) on a daily basis to mitigate issues such as these whenever possible.

    • The offer here isn’t currently integrated into our website. This offer is for NVMe SSD, while our lower cost offering is for standard SSD. We plan to make both lines available to allow customers to select the performance they need. NVMe based systems are faster than SSD. The cost difference is based on the additional cost of NVMe disks over SSD disks. We will not be phasing out either platform, however we’ve had strong demand and upgrades by customers to the NVMe based systems.

We have active deals for our non-NVMe hosts here on Lowendbox as well, if you prefer that product!

    Hi!

How do you handle rDNS for ipv6? Do I have to open tickets for them or I can set them on my own using the cpanel?

    Thanks!

Registered with them. Network infrastructure is impressive, website layouts and VPS control panel too. Tickets usually get responded with 1 business day.
From the point of a Chinese user, their location, Seattle is good. Situated near west coast, its latency is relatively low. However, with this price level, 17.5USD annually, I expect better performance, so I cancel my service after 1 day trying it.
