IP-Projects were founded in May 2007 and specialize in the areas of web hosting, design of Internet projects and Web Design. VPS servers will be hosted on dedicated servers with the following specifications: Core i7 – 3770 CPU, 32 GB DDR3-1333 RAM, 4x 1 TB Hardware RAID 10 HDD (Adaptec 6405E Controller) and are limited to 25 Virtual Machines per server. After you exceed your bandwidth allocation, they offer a ‘fair use policy’, and will allow you to use up to an additionial 1000GB of bandwidth. If you happen to exceed this, then there will be a problem and thus you will need to contact them and purchase additional bandwidth.

Unfortunately, for none German speakers, their website is in German and so is most of their documents; although Sign up seems to be in English, and Michael’s English is excellent. During Sign Up, you can choose to pay via either bank transfer or by using Paypal. If you don’t speak German, you can use a translation service to translate their Terms of Service or privacy policy. But in short, Adult, IRC and VPN are allowed. More information about the company can be found on this page, again in German.

Network Information

They use a datacenter in Frankfurt, Germany which is owned by Accelerated IT Services GmbH. Michael sent us a few pictures of their datacenter which can be found here and pictures of their own racks & servers can be seen here.

    512mb/vps x 25 vps/server = 12800mb/server.

Why do you only utilize half your RAM?

    November 6, 2012 @ 4:16 pm | Reply
    • As 512 is their smallest plan, I imagine the node is populated with other sized plans.

Yes, that was my assumption, but I was trying to avoid leading the response if they chose to lie.

    • We don’t use full memory of the servers, because, maybe you want 1024 oder 2048 Memory, we have enough space left, that you can Upgrade the VMs. Also we don’t want, that the Hostsystems are at Limit of Ressources.

    What’s the port speed?

    November 6, 2012 @ 11:32 pm | Reply
    • The Port Speed of each Host System ist 1000 Mbit/s. The VMs are limited to 100 Mbit/s. So 10 VMs could make 100 Mbit without any connectivity Problems.

        What about the dedicated box?

        November 7, 2012 @ 8:31 pm | Reply
        • Each Dedicated Server is connected with 100 Mbit/s to Switch and from Switch with 1000 Mbit/s to Core Switch. For 69 € Setup, you can get a 1000 Mbit/s Uplink to Server if its needed.

        also a subnet like /64?

        November 7, 2012 @ 9:32 am | Reply
        • Actually, the Software Supports only Singel Adresses, at Atom Servers, we give /64, at V-Servers we give Singel IPs. If it is needed, /64 Network would be also possible at V-Servers.

      • I have some questions.

What if some countries (Mexico for me) are not listed in the order form?
How much costs HW upgrades? Particularly the RAM upgrade, in your standard offers it says +2EUR per month.
With this offer I get access for the web console to reinstall/reboot?
        Thanks

      • Thanks! Sounds great.
So, is better to wait for the 01.01 to order? It will be at the same price? $29.50 minus VAT?
