LowEndBox - Cheap VPS, Hosting and Dedicated Server Deals

JollyWorksHosting – $6.36 OpenVZ VPS with 256MB Exclusive Offer

Tags: , , , Date/Time: May 19, 2010 @ 5:15 am, by LowEndAdmin

JollyWorksHosting Mark from JollyWorksHosting emailed me about their “exclusive offer” for LowEndBox readers. Use coupon code LOWENDBOX to get 20% discount of their OpenVZ virtual servers. Their “VPS Starter” is now $6.36/month and contains the following specification:

  • 256MB guaranteed/384MB burstable memory
  • 20GB storage (RAID-1)
  • 200GB/month data transfer
  • OpenVZ/SolusVM

According to Mark the coupon is available to first 10 orders. Servers are with PhoenixNAP, and the service comes with some basic management. The domain has been registered since October 2009, although from the About Us page it has been founded in March 2009. To me it sounds a bit like yet-another web designer turn hosting provider. Again, a university student run hosting company, so hopefully your servers and your data is on his high priority :)

The original owner of LowEndBox known as "LowEndAdmin" or "LEA" for short founded LowEndBox in 2008 and created the concept of hosting applications on low resource "Low End Boxes". After creating the roots of the community that we know today, "LEA" stepped aside and allowed others to carry the torch forward.

  2. Thank you LowEndBox! :)

I guess we have to update our “About Us” page regarding our domain registration history.

@turnleft: Thanks for the opinion! :) Indeed that the owner is a current college student, but our support is outsourced, so we can assure a fast and reliable support! ;)
