Anyone has any info?
One of their upstream providers in Kansas City is currently experiencing problems.
Thank you for your reply!
Dedioutlet is my favorite (more reliable) VPS provider so far, that is why I was suprised that everything went down.
“At this time, a majority of the Kansas City Metropolitan area is without power, which we believe to be the main cause of the outage we are experiencing currently.”
“We are still awaiting updates from our upstream provider and local power company, we do know that a transformer was damaged due to weather and is in the process of being replaced.”
This is an update from their Twitter account.
Hi Josef,
We are currently working closely with our upstreams and the power provider for the area to resolve this issue. Unfortunately a large portion of the Kansas City Metropolitan area is without power right now due to storms, and our upstream has informed us that there is an issue with the primary generator that is being worked on now.
Our website did not fail over to our other location as was expected, so please send all communications to support@dedioutlet.com. We will also be providing updates on Twitter: @DediOutlet
Thank you for your patience and loyalty.
