Liquid Solutions have been featured here plenty of times in the past, and founded in November 2011 by Alexander which is soon to be a registered company in Bulgaria according to him. Since their last offer Alex has also mentioned an expansion to Eastern Europe (Bulgaria) and SSD offers in the US, while at the moment they have both KVM and OpenVZ offers in TX, LA and Seattle. For this offer they are using their Seattle and LA locations which are via ColoCrossing with Quadranet and Netriver respectively. On their last offer there was pretty decent feedback, as always do leave your feedback if you have any.

Liquid Solutions accept payments through Credit and Debit Cards via PayPal. They operate with a fairly strict non-refund policy. Their TOS allows fair use of their shared resources which are IO and CPU, so if you don’t go overboard you should be fine. Among their list of addons they have up to 5-10Gbit UDP and TCP flood protection on peaks for $3/month/IP, internal IP’s for complex setups and with traffic not being counted, free offsite backup available on request and “DNS services.”  Anything illegal in the US is not allowed, as per their current TOS.

Network Information:

Servers are located in Seattle and LA with ColoCrossing at the Netriver and QuadraNet facilities.

    • Hey Joseph,

Seems like the IP is nulled, due incomming DDoS attack. Just shoot me an email at alex {at} liquid-solutions.biz or open a support ticket and I will get you a working IP for ping/traceroute test.

Nah, for speed test also we should open up a ticket ? :D

        • Yeah Alex, you can just open a ticket for that as well. Also LA is on gbps port in QuadraNet DC. It has a really nice mix of BW providers :)

  5. I looked at your site.

    cPanel Reseller Hosting page

    999 999 GB Storage

    999 999GB Bandwidth

How long are you going to fix it?

    August 14, 2013 @ 1:39 pm | Reply
    • That means that we would not limit the size of the website hosted on our server. As long as the shared hosting is not used for image, music and file hosting.

Well he will never fix it. Got one of his alpha reseller accounts in Austria, and he put me on 5gb ram vps with 50gb HDD space, in Italy !!! Also in email there is no IP’s or nameservers to point my domain to. To get working WHM account you will need 3 days ticketing with him, as this company is one man show…

      For example:
If I make Master Reseller with 100GB HDD, what my client will think about me, when he login to WHM and take a look at server information?! He will think that I’m lier (scam) as he will see 50GB HDD 5GB ram VPS!!! Yeah good for business!

When I asked for refund, due to false advertising, I got answer how he will mark me as fraud to help other hosts! Funny eh?

    Was just about to buy until I realised the information on LEB did not match up with the ones on the actual site itself;

LEB says 80GB but the site only says 60GB.

    Please clarify.

    • The server will come with 80GB. It was a modified plan from our previous offer, that’s the reason it still says 60GB :)

It states 999 999 GB Storage on his resellers, if he is only giving you 100GB then that is wrong.
Its obvious looking at that ticket he is a bedroom host, or not a professional host.

      • xgx:

Well it is not even 100GB it is 50GB for all users on that VPS. Also if he take backup (daily, weekly, monthly) you will get even less.

Watch out before you order something from this provider

  11. I am pretty sure that I’ve clearly explained everything to you and sent out a refund as well. I am not sure what you are still whining about. I’ve explained in the ticket that once resources get used up, the server will be upgraded and you will not face up any problems. VPS are easier to backup and migrate than dedicated servers, that’s why we are using one. Let’s also note that you have not used it for a single day. The setup did take around 24 hours, but if I recall correctly you said you will wait and did not request a refund back then. If you did expect a server with 999TB of disk space, well – good luck with that, for the pennys you are paying. Our policy is absolutely the same as the other big guys out there, that offer unmetered hosting. Host as many websites as you want. Do not host your backups, movies and music with us. Don’t use as a file sharing web site and there will be no problem in how much resources you consume. When we run out of resources, the server will either be upgraded or a new one deployed, just as happened now. I have indeed been in this industry, offering shared hosting since 2011 and so far noone has had a problem with that business model. I am sure that it is fair, to offer a service to the customers, not to be afraid of usage overages and such or receiving a surprising invoices of a couple of hundred $ at the end of the month for “additional resources”. You were indeed placed in an Italy node. As it has better network and the host node is better itself. Much more stable than our Austria Nodes. As there is only a couple of ms difference, I was sure that you would appreciate that jesture. Guess you did not.

Simon, I’d appreciate if you shoot me an email at alex {at} liquid-solutions.biz with some feedback. How did you determine I am running a bad operation. It will be appreciated to eventually resolve those things.

As I already mentioned, I am done wasting my time with you and no further reply’s will be sent out in here. The Ad is for VPS only, it has nothing to do with shared/reseller hosting anyway, I also kindly ask a staff member to clean it up from the double posts. I’d be happy to discuss it in private, if there is anything else you’d like to say.

It’s not about what I expect, It’s about what you offer, and that is false advertising !
      Some facts:

      1. It took more then 24 hours, also in the time of refund account was not usable. If you remember good (and I know you remember) it’s took more then 48 hours and you did not provide me with IP (nameservers). So how I can test it when I didn’t get working account?

      2. Well I’m using hosting for a long time, and never saw in my life something like this. You put me and other client to 50GB VPS with around 5GB RAM. Good for you as I can’t see what virtualization type. Maybe you used 1GB RAM VPS, and other is just burst !

      3. As my mind still works, and I remember good, I ordered reseller in Austria not in Italy. It is maybe some for you but it’s not same for me! So if I ordered in Austria I want Austria not Italy!!

      4. Sure you can go on and ask LEB community to remove my post, but be sure this is not the only one place where I can post about you, about how you lie, and how you deail with clients. Don’t worry there is also other place.

And yeah, this post is not regarding your VPS services, this post is regardin you, and how you lie. I think that people from LEB will like to know about it.

      • I’d sincerely appreciate you taking your personal “vendetta” against me in somewhere private as an email or a PM. As already mentioned – it has absolutely nothing to do with the offer.

What I was going to ask about, was to get the double posting removed, as it is obviously targeted directly at me and trying somehow to trash my sales.

I did explain to you, carefully the situation. I did refund you. I have nothing more to say to you.

Have a nice day. For a third time today.

  12. xgx:

Well maybe you don’t have what to tell, but I have for sure.
It’s nothing personal, and for sure it’s not vendetta against you, it’s simple to warn others how you deal with clients, and what kind of services you provid.

    Take care :)

I just purchased the $7 Seattle VPS and their SolusVM has been down the whole time (24+hours now) and there is some message in the Liquidhost management area that says the Seattle node is being rebooted and that all VM’s will be back online shortly. I’ve seen that since yesterday. Sent in two support tickets, not one has been responded to yet. Not sure how I feel about this host so far.

    • T33o:

Still on the same package as mentioned above. My server goes down all the time, then when I go to log into the SolusVM control website, it’s often down as well. Although it’s a speedy server for $7/month, the inconsistent up-times and the duration in which it takes to get a reply back from support have played a role in my decision to cancel my service. Too bad really. It seemed like a sweet deal at first.

I highly suggest no one go with this host, no matter how cheap it is.

  18. I’m having similar problems with liquidhosting. I have purchased a year subscription of the Seattle Level 5 VPS, and it has been down for the past 2 days, and some other days before as well. I have been sending support tickets over and over again and there is no response.

When I ask for a refund he tells me they operate on a strict no refund policy, but the policy states that they will not refund part of your monthly fee once you have paid and I have paid for the whole year. This is thievery as you cant take someone’s money for a yearly service and your service does not work half the time and you refuse to return the money to them. My client is now bugging me and he thinks I am conning him.

I wouldn’t advise for anyone to go for these guys as there service is terrible, tickets take a long time to be answered, and they dont make good on their promise of 99% uptime. As I speak I still can not ssh into my VPS for the past 3 days.

I just need my money back, so I can go to a better host.
