cannot pay in eth or btc
Hi Egorenkov
At the moment we are accepting payments by cryptocurrency upon request. Please open a ticket after your order if you would like to pay using this method.
linux selection doesn’t have Ubuntu 20.04.
why? that’s like the most popular option.
Thanks for the feedback. We’ve had Ubuntu 20.04 available for some time in our systems but just not added to our order form yet. We will update our order forms soon.
After you order your VPS, you can reinstall your OS on the Virtualizor Panel to Ubuntu 20.04.
Pay via Paypal failed. Then they asked send to their Paypal manually. I already sent but 24h passed with no ticket answer from support. Really scared about this service!
Usually this only happens if your payment failed our fraud checks, but if that was the case you should have been refunded anyway.
What is your ticket ID so we can take a look at what is going on?
Cannot pay via Paypal
See above.
Do you have ipv6?
Hi Jeremiah
Yes! We are native IPv6 supported.
Open a ticket to request it and we will allocate it free of charge
Hi, on the post it says that their WHOIS is public, but from my checking: https://who.is/whois/losangelesvps.com they seem to be under a WhoIsGuard protection (as of writing).
Do we have any other sources and information to ascertain for ourselves and weigh the credibility of this company for a long-time contract? Thanks in advance.
Hi Silver
I will look into how this happened, we recently renewed our domain for several years so in the process of renewing it may have accidentally renewed WHOISGUARD as well or something like that? That pretty much comes standard with domain registrars now. I’ll look into it. We have definitely been in business for a long time now, and been around these parts for a while. We currently have a bit over 3500 active customers and a great amount of that are from LEB members. You can review our other previous offer posts on LEB too
If you want to try us out on one of the smaller plans first, you can then upgrade to a larger plan later
Dear Mr. Zeng,
Did the WHOISGUARD during the transfer of domain even wipe off your business address from your website as well as from the invoices? Did you know that it is illegal not to invoice clients without a business address on it?
You could be in a big trouble under the European Laws.
Sorry for the above sentence hurriedly written. Correct is:
Did you know that it is illegal to invoice clients without a business address on it?
After ordering the VPS, I needed to reinstall Centos 8 as it was installed Centos 7.
When the re-installation was finished, I could not login thereafter. Even though I had uploaded the public SSH key before the installation, I could not login into the VPS. The SSH key was not included in the VPS during the installation. If not, why the hell it is necessary to save it in the system with them?
Then I managed to login into the VNC. Changed the sshd_config and made sure that Port 22 is uncommented. In netstat, it shows Port 22 is open. I could ping the Gateway. That is all. The ping does not come out of the network. dig google.com does not work, even if nameservers 8.8.8.8 are written in resolv.conf.
This shows that the Centos 8 image has some problems.
After opening a ticket with “HIGH” priority, I received a message after a few hours that they forwarded the ticket to an administrator.
I think Los Angeles VPS should improve their system i.e. Control Panel, make sure that clients do not have a headache in the initial hours and should not struggle to make their first connection with their servers from their home or office. They should make sure that tickets with “HIGH” priority should be handled with upmost urgency.
While they may be making a good business getting customers due to their discount proccess here and on other websites, they should not forget that clients should be attended much faster. Especially when it comes to the initial installation problems.
Took a punt on a Unmetered 2GB for a tiny Virtualmin for slave DNS – It’s not my first rodeo
Quite possibly one of the slowest most latent KVM VPS’s I’ve had the displeasure of ssh’ing to – they’re clearly overcommitting the underlying hardware.
I won’t be renewing this one.
Yabs for a 2GB 3vCPU instance – not exactly brilliant.
That’s not a good number …
holy fucking shit, that geekbench…
E-Mail ports are blocked by default, which they don’t inform anywhere, you need to write an essay to have them unblocked. So good luck with that.
The blocking of ports like 25 (email) is getting more and more common as providers work to stop spamming activities.
I have bought 7 Vps here, but all are down for some days, too slowly support :(
Not able to access Virtualizor control panel https://my.servercontrolpanel.net:4083/
Anyone know how to contact them. Tickets usually response after more than a day ….
Its been a problem with panel, I see its normal now.
Been a customer of LA VPS from a year, they never disappointed, Good thing about this provider is having clean IP address with no blacklisting already.
Can somebody post recent YABS. I want to see the performance of the port. Getting 20Mbits on 1Gbits is not a good number at all.
The IP they gave is black listed. Port 25 blocked. The site/control panel is down.
The ticket takes half a day to get reply. On Ubuntu even “apt-get update” does not work.
The email listed in Paypal bounces. They should be out of business
