Microsoft announced that they are raising prices for Office 365 subscriptions.
The price increase is between 10% and 16%, depending on product. This is the first price increase since Office 365 launched in 2011.
On March 1, 2022, we will update our list pricing for the following commercial products:

Microsoft 365 Business Premium | $20 | $22 |
Office 365 E1 | $8 | $10 |
Office 365 E3 | $20 | $23 |
Office 365 E5 | $35 | $38 |
Microsoft 365 E3 | $32 | $36 |
According to the article, “These increases will apply globally with local market adjustments for certain regions. There are no changes to pricing for education and consumer products at this time.”
All of these pricing changes will be effective March 1, 2022.
Microsoft (NYSE: MSFT) stock was up on expected improved revenues.
