  1. I had very bad experience with them, their refund policy is not clear and they suspned account if u ask for refund ,not giving refund for valid reasons

    • You disputed your payment with Paypal before asking for a refund.

As per Policy, all disputed payments are handled through PayPal’s system.

You were told, no less than 7 times, if you wanted an immediate refund we would be happy to do so, provided you closed the dispute. You refused to do so, so the matter was handled via PayPal’s dispute system, which is what you wanted.

For anyone wondering about what our other clients thought of our service, check out the comments in our last post: http://lowendbox.com/blog/orbitservers-4-offers-from-4year-for-a-128mb-openvz-in-buffalo-and-dallas/

Why couldn’t you just refund him without him closing the dispute makes no sense at all.

        • Charlie,

We provide a good service, and a very generous and lax refund policy. Chargebacks hurts our standing with PayPal, and when they are unfounded which is generally the case with most chargebacks, we fight them. By accepting liability, or refunding through the chargeback, we are saying that we were at fault for something, which we were not.

We were not at fault, and we have never denied a refund for a service during our 5 day refund grace period. Ever. We provide the services as described, and provide a high level of support for the services, and using chargeback rather than just requesting a refund, is uncalled for. Additionally, as per our terms of service, we will take no billing action, or service requests, while a service is being disputed in PayPal or other payment gateway – unless it is for an overpayment, or other billing mistake.

            Hello,

I’m very sorry, but per our ToS we do not offer refunds for VPS.

“Refunds are not applicable for domains, dedicated servers, vps services and service addons.”

          • u denied refund that’s why I made paypal dispute,later u u suspended service taking my money

            is that valid?

          • Vikram,

My apologies, if you still need a refund please contact us again. The Staff member who denied your refund just got out of training, and misunderstood what service you were using, and pointed you to the wrong Terms of Service. What he copied and pasted to you was the refund policy regarding VPS servers which are included in HUB bundles for Game Hosting.

I have 3 VPS with them (their last special here on LEB) and I’m quite happy.
Did not need their customer service so far, so can’t tell, but the servers are very stable, and that is what is most important to me.
Will order more if they ever add more locations.

I have a $4 VPS from OrbitServers from the last promotion. I’ve contacted support twice and received professional replies within 5 minutes between each response. All issues were promptly fixed. They might not be as big or well known as other providers, but give them a shot if they fit your requirements.

    Is semi-annually mean $6 for 6 months? imgur.com/FmnSKNv

    October 2, 2014 @ 7:39 am | Reply
    • Hey!

What you linked is if you chose a semi-annual plan with the 128MB VPS, which was actually supposed to be removed and now has.

You should now only have a annual option, at the right price of $6 per year.

Let me know if everything works right when you order now!

    • Roni,

We run promotions based on available resources and expenses on our end. The $4 promotion was a great success, as is the current one. After the $4 promotion, we needed to expand the number of machines we are using, as well as cover the cost of additional ipv4 blocks, rather than trying to shove everyone into the existing network.

I think $6 for a 128mb annual plan is still an amazing offer, especially with the level of quality and support we provide. I hope that we can drop the price again the next time we are ready to submit a new offer.

    • .onion sites generally host or provide access to content that we do not allow on our system (e.g: Kid Porn, Warez, Fraud and Scamming networks) so in almost all cases, this type of site would violate our terms of service and not be allowed.

I grabbed a $4/year promotion on the last offer and while I haven’t put the server to good use yet, it’s been up for 67 days and I’ve seen no downtime, so no complains from me!

Also, for those that are wondering, the $4/year promotion last time only came with 128 MB swap, while the $6/year comes with 256MB. So, there is a difference in specs to match the price increase.

Signed up yesterday and have been very happy and amazed at what you can get for the price. Comments here about system stability are affirming.

Even thinking of buying another VPS in the other data center if that is possible (with the promotion code)!

Only slight wrinkle is that the web frontend said that I could not set a PTR record for my IP.

  19. Hello,

This is only the second VPS I’m purchasing (my first being from DigitalOcean, and I’m very pleased with that) and actually the first time posting on LEB.

I decided to try this provider because the reviews here seemed decent as well as their acceptance of paypal.

I noticed some odd things with this service though, when entering my details to sign-up, at the bottom of the page it says my IP is being logged and shows whats supposed to be my current ip, and to my surprise, it wasn’t actually my Ip, and I’m positive of it and I’m not using a proxy of any kind. Then after submitting those details, instead of being directed to a page to do the paypal transaction, I get an error that “MaxMind” (I suppose an automated fraud system) suspended my service. If I go to my invoices on their website, my $6 invoice was canceled, and if I view my VPS, it is shown to be terminated. I have no idea why I would be flagged as fraudulent, all information I’ve provided is correct and in good standing.

I created a support ticket explaining this, and I will update this post as I receive replies on the ticket.

  21. I ordered more than 10 x 128 MB vps from them, and they works fine. Unfortunately, the order period of $4/month is finished, I must order $6/month for the same service :p.
