Community provider PureVoltage announced yesterday that they’d acquired Dot-Tech, the parent company of LevelOneServers.
PureVoltage is a LowEndTalk advertiser and has been with our community for quite a while. So has Dot-Tech and @Ian_Dot_Tech is a well-known figure in our community.
So what does this mean for customers?
As a result of this acquisition, LevelOneServers clients will gain immediate access to three additional server locations, now part of the PureVoltage network: New York (SuperPOP), Seattle, Los Angeles, and soon, Budapest, Hungary. This expansion allows us to deliver even greater performance, with broader global coverage and enhanced redundancy.
In addition, PureVoltage’s renowned 24/7 support—known for its proactive approach and exceptional technical expertise—will now be further strengthened by our integrated teams across the U.S. and Europe. This will significantly improve response times and support quality, ensuring we continue to exceed your expectations. Customer satisfaction has been at the heart of our business for nearly 20 years, and this remains our driving force.
They’re bringing over the team you know as well:
We are proud to bring many of Dot-Tech’s talented staff into the PureVoltage team. You’ll continue to receive the same dedicated, personal service from the people you already know and trust, ensuring a smooth transition and continuity in your experience. Our goal is to enhance your service, not disrupt it.
And pricing? “No price change for current clients” according to the press release.
@Ian_Dot_Tech seems happy with the way things turned out:
Its been a good long 10 years as the owner of Dot-Tech LLC. I know Jake, and the Purevoltage team will help to continue to give LevelOneServers the support, and tools needed to make LevelOneServers even better. PS: I am still here at LevelOneServers actively working, jump in our Discord and say hi!
Sounds like a good transaction all around. Congrats to @PureVoltage.
