RackNerd is a good Company. Some complain about all their promos, but I have never had a major issue in years. Speed bump here and their but support always there to fix. Main thing is: support is available 24/7. I am NOT paid to say this:)

Los Angeles DC-02 already sold out? I can’t find it in the location list.
Hi @allenwest, great catch!
We’ve actually been out of stock for some time — though we’ve just replenished inventory in Los Angeles.
We look forward to seeing you expand with RackNerd.
Ordered, thank you!
I’m interested in the Los Angeles location as well. Will that be available at some point soon? Thanks!
Hi Martin! Great news, Los Angeles inventory is now available!
We sincerely appreciate your interest and hope to see you grow with RackNerd.
Thank you!! Ordered and I’m looking forward to seeing it work!
Hi Martin! Really happy to see this!
Thank You for giving us the opportunity!
I was satisfied with Racknerd until I tried to lease a second server. The first server charged what they stated. The second server charged 12% tax, so I didn’t pay it and now I have this annoying alert every time I log in to Racknerd about an unpaid order. You should really tell customers about the tax before they place the order and not as a surprise in their payment method. Otherwise, a decent hosting company.
Hi Cobol, Thank You so much for trusting us with your business. We’re happy to know that your overall experience with RackNerd has been good. We strive to provide an experience you’re happy with.
In regards to your first order, that’s great! Happy to see provisioning went smooth, and that your service is up and running as it should be. I do know that if you didn’t pay tax on your first order, but noticed tax was issued on the second order, this is because it is legally required to do so in your country/state. I’ll explain further.
If you find that some orders there is tax, and some there isn’t, this means you selected a different payment method between orders (different payment processor). Keep in mind, we do not enforce the taxes, our payment processors do. Thus I’ve indicated the reasoning as to why you may see tax on one processor, but not the other.
If you’re tax exempt, you can always be refunded the tax by reaching out to our payment processor (just let us know if this is the case and we’ll put you in contact directly with them). Or if you’re comfortable with the previous method of payment where taxed wasn’t added, you can always pay your second invoice that way. We’re here to help, so feel free to get in touch by e-mailing billing@racknerd.com and we’ll help.
