Aruba based RaidLogic recently opened up in Kansas City and has sent in some discount codes for us lowendbox readers.
They have only been featured once before and then the comments got a little lively. Since they are new and their first offer didn’t get that many reviews, it would be nice to read about both good and bad experiences.
Every package comes with Free CISCO™ GUARD DDOS protection, 5GB offsite backup space, free DNS hosting, and free website migrations.

Ahh burstnet and datashack.
Also how does the Kansas city have Cisco Guard protection?
This is bad provider, i wonder why it listed here many times.
Just to piss you off! :-)
On serious note. This host is listed here 2nd time (is this often? ..strange people.. :-) and beside that you don’t give any serious argument why you think that way so only bad thing I see here is your useless comment.
this is new domain of The Server Expert – scam provider, you should know it
Aaah, The Server Experts, yes that does ring a bell! I had a VPS with them 2 years ago. Luckily I canceled mine before they vanishes into nothing. I knew the website design was familiar!
Back then they were just BurstNet resellers.
They aren’t new into VPS but are experienced with running VPS business as I’ve also figured RaidLogic is Theserverexperts, which is a company that used to be in hosting business for maybe a decade before they suddenly closed down. They use the same logo, same website also based in Aruba as TSE etc, so not a secret. But imo it’s a good return, since it looks they’ve solved probably some monetary issues that might be what lead them to close the other company at once, and can now avoid what caused them whatever issues lead to that, as for example their plans now -in purpose- are different, and customized by them. I had a VPS with their old company Theserver experts and they used to answer my tickets very fast, tbh it was a semi-managed service, the only true semi-managed budget VPS company I’ve seen. Also their free 5gb ftp backup was useful which they still offer. All in all, my believe is it’s not a bad company but just had issues at once only and now are back so maybe deserves a new chance for once I’d say.
I agree with @GO they are a great company, iam late with payments sometimes and they are very flexable. The perfomance is also top notch and tickets are indeed answered fast and yes my vps is semi-managed i love that part.
@ Jacob,
I have a VPS with them in Kansas City, they have a Full Cabinet in which they colocate their servers, they do offer cisco guard protection across all their product line, i use my VPS primary for my private gaming server
which DC have DDOS protection?Kansas or Scranton

@greyboy
Both datacenter has DDOS protection.
Lowedbox is a great site and extremely helpful to a newbie like me in choosing a reliable/cost-effective provider. This is my first post and I hope it is helpful to others.
I’m coming to the end of my second month with raidlogic who I chose based on info here and competitive pricing for a windows vps (to run forex software that isn’t linux friendly).
I started off on their basic ‘bronze’ plan @ US$7.95 (http://www.raidlogic.net/vps/bronze.html) but had to upgrade to ‘silver’ @ US$12.95 because Windows Server 2008 R2 used up most of the available 512MB RAM.
On the plus side: (1) My VPS was setup very quickly and (2) the raidlogic client page/website etc is easy to navigate. (3) The raidlogic helpdesk has responded helpfully and within a day to all my queries (including with good humour to a few daft ones from a newbie). (4) There have been no service failures to date.
On the minus side: (1) The price is low because the cost of the windows server software licence is not included. As a newbie I have no point of comparison but (2) it is slow to load programmes – eg. on the ‘silver’ plan with a 1500Mhz CPU and 1GB RAM my installed browser (opera) takes around 3 minutes to start/load the home page.
his provider is a SCAM why buy from him if he simply resell from Burst.NET
Seems like a waste of time.
Very amatuer, its a receipt for failure
IRC not allowed? *frown*
