HostShark contacted us again to feature their latest round of special deals.
Last time things got a little heated.
Here’s the reality of how LowEndBox works…
We sometimes get offers that are outright scams. Two weeks in business, Internet full of complaints, impossible offers, 3-year-only signups, crypto (non-refundable) only, new name of an old failed business, etc. We filter those.
We also get offers that look legit but people have bad experiences down the line. We don’t know ahead of time what’s what, so to quote Huggy Bear, we lay it out for y’all to play it out. Caveat emptor and all that. Some folks like to live on the edge. Some will only buy if the the provider has a AAA credit rating. You make the call!
And then there’s the haters. Because people can post anonymously in the comments, when provider A posts, sometimes competitor B comes along as slags them off, saying they’re the scams, frauds, chaotic evil servants of Sauron, network is tin cans and string, support is worse than an Xfinity call center, etc. Maybe those are legit complaints. Maybe they have a sore gluteus maximus. Maybe they’re cyberkarens who took time off from screeching about a lukewarm Starbucks that ruined their life to complain about a dropped packet. Impossible to know which of these are legit but we don’t censor them.

The person behind hostshark is a complete scammer.
He provide people with oversold shitty vps as dedicated, and lie about specs.
He doesn’t refund when he gets caught

Not true. I delivered this person’s dedicated and he was not satisfied with it at all.
I only wish to say that I literally laughed out loud when I read “support is worse than an Xfinity call center”.

The link is not taking the 1gb machine and the value is twice as advertised.
Scam company – do NOT use them. Set up VPS and logged in one time (did not use it at all). They took the server offline the next day and it has been offline since. Total scam of a company – no doubt set up in some third world country. Just trying to bank some cash from Westerners through fraud. Pieces of shit like this should be exposed at every possible opportunity.
The node you were setup on has been down for maintenance. I have emailed you new VPS login details. Please check your email. I apologize for the inconvenience. We are not a fraud company, we some times have technical issues just like everyone else. We are not perfect. I wlll gladly refund you for this month.
I have already set up with another company. The time wasted is something much more valuable than that tiny dollar amount. Maybe you will take your business more seriously in the future.
Did this company just closed and run away with the money ?
all my websites are inaccessible and when i check all the domains .org, .io and .net none is working
Stay as far away from this host as what you can. They mysteriously rebranded to alienvps.com and then charged my payment method an exorbitant amount and then shut down their entire website and hosting. To make matters worse, their cPanel and WHMCS licences were all illegal/nulled as well.
