Ryan, from Speedy KVM, writes us to share an exclusive offer for the LowEndBox community. It is a 1GB RAM KVM offer with generous amount of SSD RAID10 disk space and bandwidth, located in Dallas, Texas, USA. This promotion gives customers a recurring 30% discount using the code LEB. SpeedyKVM is a sister company of Incero that provides KVM servers with high amounts of RAID 10 SSD storage, RAM, and CPU cores. I believe this brand focuses on giving high performance servers with very competitive pricing. While their WHOIS information is not public, this should not be a concern for our readers. Incero is a well-known company here in LowEndBox and many providers use them to host their servers. They have been around since 2008, own and operate their hardware, and has staff on-site the data-center. They also own the very popular brand Wable that generated a high amount of interest in LowEndTalk. I believe that the resources for this offer, together with the reputation of Incero, makes this offer a very good deal indeed.

Host node for this offer has the hardware configuration of E3 1230v2, 32GB RAM, 4x 1TB SSD in Hardware RAID10, and 1Gbps uplink. Since the servers are with Incero, you should expect very good network, as they have good reputation on this feature. Personally, I will be buying a server from this offer. The amount of SSD disk space alone is worth it for the price range – considering that it is on RAID10! Kindy share your thoughts on the comment section below.

Speedy KVM accepts payments through PayPal and any credit/debit cards. Additional IPv4 are available for $1 per address. Some activities not allowed on their servers include: digital currency mining, all use of TOR, torrenting copyrighted content. But note that legal use of IRC is allowed. For all legal information, kindly read their Acceptable Use Policy & Terms of Service. We highly encourage our readers to always read legal agreements before making any purchase. If you have any concerns, you can email them at sales@speedykvm.com or call them using 1-214-301-KVM9.

It’s not strange that friends follow each other around. It is strange that you follow them around like a wounded puppy though.

This just seems silly, why would our VPS prices go up? If we actually did what you are describing, I can’t imagine we would stay in business.

      • KNERD:

Yes they did go up from the regular price shown here and the LEB code is no longer valid.

Actually, the prices went down. You can get these instances now for less than the 30% discounted price – 1GB = $4, 2GB = $8, etc.

Oh, that is just for the annual rate. The monthly has gone up significantly, but the annual rate has gone down if I’m not mistaken.

will the vps get suspended when the allotted bandwidth is used up? Your pricing says 50c per GB and that isn’t all that great so I’d like it if it just shut off @ 1.5TB.

    September 11, 2015 @ 10:32 am | Reply
    • Ryan Arp:

Yes, it will be shut off at 1.5TB.

also I tried the test ipv6 ip out from various network testing sites and despite http://bgp.he.net/AS54540#_asinfo saying that you have nLayer & Abovenet for ipv6, it seems to be 100% nLayer in and out, do you have any plans to turn on ipv6 over Abovenet?

    September 11, 2015 @ 1:16 pm | Reply
    • Ryan Arp:

I will check on this, IPV6 should be available via nLayer and Zayo.

Can we run Windows Server Desktop (GUI) and connect through Windows Remote Desktop?

    September 14, 2015 @ 12:50 pm | Reply

You will need to buy your own license for windows. However once that is accomplished, then you can configure RDP to your needs.

  9. heads up I guess, re:

All digital currency mining is forbidden, all digital currency activity is forbidden, that includes running programs that track hashes of transactions, verify transactions, keep records of transactions or anything else. All digital currency applications are banned as they cause high cpu spikes for extended periods, feel free to run that sort of application on a dedicated server at a different provider instead.

…. decided to check again, since it just mentioned digital currency mining, but it seems everything is disallowed still (and once initial sync is done, standard (bitcoin) client doesnt use much resources at all)

The offer is no longer valid but I gave their annual 1GB RAM KVM w/windows 2012 template a try. Overall experience as far as the VPS is concerned is good. Raised a support ticket and got a resolution within hours.

Sadly, no CentOS 7 install on KVM plans! I can’t advise starting with a new KVM with a CentOS install which isn’t current…

CentOS 6 isn’t end of life until November 30, 2020. They also have CentOS 7 as an ISO that you can mount. I wouldn’t consider latest LTS to necessarily be a requirement to call it current, a lot of things have not been updated to support RHEL7 yet.
