VirExperT were founded in August of this year and are currently in the process of registering the company. According to their “About Us” page, VirExpert is “A newly founded company with 3 founders and 2 employees” and “Your satisfaction is our main concern, we’ll try our best to help you with your business.”. They’re also currently developing their own panel but in the meantime, clients will use SolusVM to manage their servers. Xen and KVM based VPS will be offered soon. They seem to be connected to LibVZ who were self-listed on LowEndTalk in July.

At present, their only accepted payment method is paypal. They have a 24 hours full refund policy. Be sure to read their full Terms of Service before purchasing. You can view their other plans by clicking here.

These VPSs are supposed to be located in Los Angeles? In IP lookups using 3 different services, 2 show Wilmington, Delaware and one shows Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Does this same issue occur with IP addresses provided to VPS customers?

Welp, got myself a 2GB box at their normal price. Since day one, it’s been unusable and I wasn’t able to connect to it.

I assumed it had something to do with the OS installation, since something similar has happened in the past with other hosts, and I asked for a simple re-installation.

A week passed with no response, and the WHMCS ticket closed itself. I opened it again, repeating my question. Finally, I got a response from a “Tianyi wu” who simply replied with

    “hi,

you vps has some problem for you disk,
    Begin: Running /scripts/init-bottom … done.
init: Failed to spawn hostname main process: unable to execute: No such file or directory
init: Failed to spawn plymouth main process: unable to execute: No such file or directory
init: Failed to spawn hwclock main process: unable to execute: No such file or directory
init: ureadahead main process (159) terminated with status 5
init: Failed to spawn mountall main process: unable to execute: No such file or directory
init: Failed to spawn mountall post-stop process: unable to execute: No such file or directory

i suggest u to reinstall you system.”

So basically, they don’t even have a proper support team, and rely on offshore employees who barely even speak English to do the work for them.

I demanded a refund since the service I paid for has been unaccessible, so we’ll see how it goes from there.
