    • Our Buffalo, New York location should do the job well for this purpose! :] Users from Europe seem to receive good speed and connectivity to it. Here’s a test IP for Buffalo: 192.227.135.130

    Is IPV6 available?

    March 16, 2013 @ 10:28 pm | Reply
    • Right now, we only have IPv4 support. Our datacenter should be upgrading its network to support Ipv6 within the next couple months.

      When it is available, all customers may request Ipv6 addresses and they will be assigned at no extra cost.

    I’ve got one, Winter 1536. It’s so good.
    Please anyone tell me the difference between 100Mbps and 1Gbps Port. I don’t see much difference in website speed.

    March 19, 2013 @ 4:35 am | Reply
    • marius:

      Its faster only in the sense that you can transfer more data in less time.
      You wont see a difference , anyway is a shared connection ad it helps, on 1gbit you always have free bandwith.

      March 19, 2013 @ 7:22 am | Reply
    • The difference:

      100Mbit = 12.5 MB/s
      1Gbps = 125 MB/s

      Of course the 1Gbps line is shared among other customers so you likely won’t see the full 1Gbps, but you can definitely expect at least 3-4x faster speeds compared to 100Mbps :]

    Ordered the 1536 offer (it’s available on the LEB offer page) because the 2048 wasn’t available. Needed support at 11PM (GMT-8) on a Friday and my request was fulfilled within about 40 minutes, quite impressed there considering the low level of service I ordered!

    Had some slowdown issues but I have a feeling that was related to some upstream issues and not my LEB. Quite happy so far with this setup, working great as a remote TFTP server for my day job and building up some small web clients & dev on my night job with it.

    tl;dr: pretty damn happy for $5 and change a month!

    These guys have been working out well for me so far! Only two comments:
    – I’m using the box as a Mailman server, among other things, and I had some email deliverability issues related to poor IP reputation but I’ve been able to get off of most of the blacklists I care about. I assume that’s par for the course VPS-wise.
    – I/O can be noticeably laggy but it doesn’t much matter for my needs.
    All in all, pleased as punch, especially for the price.

    I ordered the Winter 768 and am quite happy so far. The support answered quickly then I had one problem in the beginning. There must have been a misconfiguration or so but the system run out of memory at 230 MByte. However it was fixed within a few minutes. The speed is constantly good and no outages. The only thing I am missing are the ipv6 addresses but they promised in another thread to provide them later this year for free.

    Got my first ever VPS a few days ago, the Winter 2048, and hope I can learn the ropes. It’s sooo different from shared and reseller hosting. Frustrating, but exciting, too. Like it took me until yesterday to even figure out how to point my domain to my VPS… lol

  24. Hello,

    I’m a new customer of WeLoveServers.net and would like to give a review of my experience. I first saw the this ad and immediately began doing research and comparisons on this website and WeLoveServer’s offers. After comparing different hosts offering similar specs for the price, I went ahead and ordered a Winter 768. I joked with my friends about purchasing a 2 dollar VPS which we all had a good laugh about. Though once the machine was ready (which was instant) and I began working on it, I was not laughing at all.

    The service has been phenomenal and very fast. Each VPS has a 3.5Ghz quad core and performs very well in all the tests I ran, so much faster than my previous host. I was able to setup my lamp server and get services online very quickly. The server is running rock solid without a hitch and I am very happy with my account. I submitted two tickets and they were answered and resolved within two hours which is great. My old host takes about a day, up to 3 days to respond.

    On Monday I decided to move main server to WeLoveServers. On their home page, there is a “Lets Make a Deal” option which I needed as my main server has special specifications. Their Business VPS plan would have sufficed, but after seeing how stellar my Winter 768 server ran, I figured to give the Deal Maker a go. Christopher the VP helped me through with a plan that fit my budget as well as a VPS plan that allows me to go forward in moving over my main server to WeLoveServers.

    I’m very happy at WeLoveServers with their speedy VPS setups and special customer care which I have not seen in a host in a long time. These guys are pro, and very responsive. Keep up the good work! And thanks, you guys rock!

      Sorry for the delay in response to you, but I wanted to respond in case anyone else had the same question in mind. I will do my best to monitor the previous LEB offers and answer any inquiries, however the best way to reach out to us is via email at sales@weloveservers.net.

      We also have a new offer which should be posted on LowEndBox soon, keep an eye out.
