Tim from 2Host, submitted an exclusive offer earlier this month. 2Host are no stranger to LowEndBox having first appeared in 2009 but they have a controversial history, see below.
XEN Enterprise
- 128MB Ram
- 10GB storage
- 5TB/month data transfer on 1Gbps port
- Xen/SolusVM
- $25/Year, Direct Signup
When they were last featured in December 2010, complaints regarding lack of communication, slow speeds and oversold nodes came flooding in. One user commented: ‘Support disappears for a week. No email contact. No live chat. No support terminal. No support ticketing; I was left in the dark when I needed help the most!’ It’s been over 18 months since their last post so things have hopefully changed, if you are/were a customer please do share your experiences below.
Tim explains each entry has the chance to win a second year free “once 100 orders have been reached, we will select 5 orders for a free 2nd year. So 5% chance for the first 100 to pay $12,50 per year”.
VPN, Proxies and Tor are allowed, however legal adult content and IRC are prohibited. (Tos/AUP)

First, the whole phrase reads like a huge WTF. If there’s “however”, one wouldn’t expect the word “not” later.
Second, it’s not even correct in any part of it.
– Proxies/Tor/IRC are all prohibited in the AUP;
– that clause is worded in a way that likely disallows any sort of VPN use too;
– don’t see the AUP forbidding or even mentioning legal adult content at all.
Yeah, you’re correct the ‘not’ was misused.
Your second point may be valid however what I’ve written was based on what he mentioned on the email.
I use 2host xen 256 offer from may 2010. It was good for 3 months. Later it went slow (even Yum update take times)& sometime it hang & I had to restart my VPS every week. It might have been due to high bandwith allowed by 2host & a lot of people found out about good review of LEB & abusers might have contributed the problem.
Later, I moved my stuff from 2host to Enetcloud when it offered on LEB. A lot of user as well as LEA also move out off from 2host as well.
I guess 2host may have taken care of their old problems.
I used 2Host earlier this year for a couple of months and initially everything was working fine. After a while network connection problems started to appear which were unrelated to my VPS setup. It took ages for the tickets to get answered and the network problems weren’t fixed as well. That’s when I canceled my VPS. So did the situation with questionable support change in 2012? It sure didn’t look like it earlier this year.
On the plus side: the network (when it was working) was very fast and I guess that this and the high bandwidth limit combined draws all sorts of “bad crowd” – especially if there’s no one taking care of/monitoring the node closely.
Hi, my vps was down from Aug 8, no one checked and answered my supported tickets, at last the ticket closed itself, and the vps is still down now over a month!!!!
Their online service are always offline.
The test ip and file was conection time out.
