Julie from NQHost has a special Xen VPS offer for LowEndBox readers.
Promos – NQ-VPS-PR5
|
NQHost is a Czech company which have been featured on LowEndBox a few times. They were last featured six months ago when they offered a similar plan but with 128MB more Ram and 9GB more diskspace; however unlike their previous offer, this one does include 3 IPv4 addresses. On their last post, they received quite a few positive comments with one user commenting “one of the best vps providers out there”. Luckily, NQhost are located with Softlayer in Dallas and not with LimeStoneNetworks. As this plan comes with three IPv4 addresses, I guess this will appeal to people who may want to host multiple name servers on one vps or assign multiple SSL certificates etc. It is very rare for a VPS to be issued with two IPv4’s, let alone three.
NQHost accept the following methods of payment: Credit Card, PayPal (via 2CheckOut), Skrill(previously known as Moneybrokers) and WebMoney(WMZ). You can read their full Terms of services by downloading this pdf file.

“and not with LimeStoneNetworks”
Lol, I love it!
I’ll check them out :)
Looks like a good host for a VPN server.
Is this enough for PPTP? For Open VPN 128 is too small
Dude, you can even install OpenVPN on 32Mb VPS -..-
Hah.. really? :) You got turtle OpenVPN )
Laughed about the the not with LimeStone declaration.
Guess being at LimeStone might be detrimental to you VPS business.
Not for me , Filled a full node on our LEB offer haha.
Back to topic : Good Luck NQHost!
is torrent allowed to use?
Gosh, lol, I pay 21/quater for my 2gb vps
is this real unmetered? any catch?
Sure This cost cover it :)
Hi,
I have a xen 128MB (15$/Quarter offer, around a year ago). It’s fine for the price and i didn’t have any major problem. 2 minor problems, first one was about IPv6 ,which was solved within 15 minutes! 2nd one was about my payment (Via Webmoney),this was solved after an hour.
Disk speed isn’t consistent , something between 20MB/S..40MB/S , but this is more than enough for me.I have pptp & IPsec/L2TP VPN servers (+nginx , PHP , mysql).
My uptime :
root@nqvps:~# uptime
05:17:20 up 208 days, 23:44, 1 user, load average: 0.21, 0.15, 0.10
They had to update the Node (some security update ,…) and reboot it ,otherwise my uptime would be around a year.
Overall , after a year i will give them 9/10. That 1 point deduction is for inconsistent disk speed.
P.S : Sorry for my bad English, it isn’t my native language.
‘Status: Pending’
12 hours++ still waiting for activated
Finally, myVPS was active :)
not bad for $7
For speed is better than my other vps,
Only 1 problem right now :
when i try to look and track my own ip @bgp.he.net
174.127.xx.xxx is not softlayer but http://www.icts24.com
correct me if im wrong
Sorry for my bad English
I’m happy customer of NQhost for more than two years since April 2011. I have 3 VPS on each available location where NQhost have server nodes (Russia, Germany, USA).
Can’t remember any cases the server was inaccessible. No problems related network or disk subsystem. High uptime. The only reason why I reboot the server is new version of kernel.
Key benefits of NQhost:
-Unmetered bandwidth with 100 Mbit shared port on each VPS
-SolusVM panel which provide extremely useful serial (and VNC also) console feature. I may get access to my server with serial console anytime even when there’s no SSH access for example after failure kernel update when system can not boot
-PyGrub feature
-I used Gentoo for a long time and ’emerge -uDN world’ or ’emerge -eav system’ are performed very quickly.
-External FTP for backups
-Hardware 10 RAID storage on each server node
-Extremely fast response from support department. Not more than 10 minutes. Really a pleasant surprise.
-For those who do not have much experience in system administration NQhost provide cPanel, DirectAdmin and ISPmanager Lite (for free!)
-Upgrade without data loss
-The ability to create custom configuration – e.g. if you need big disk size, but do not need much memory
I would recommend NQhost everyone who needs stable Linux or BSD box that just works.
