Don’t want to spend big bucks on cPanel or DirectAdmin? But not sure about some of the free hosting panels? This is the video for you!
I break down four of the top panels: AAPanel, CloudPanel, Hestia, and KeyHelp, and also explains why I didn’t review CyberPanel or ISPConfig…maybe next time, guys.
All have GUIs, dashboards, and tools to help you setup and manage your web sites. But there are some big difference between these four panels! Some are more admin-oriented and some are more user-friendly. Some include app stores, others have more features built-in.
I didn’t cover CyberPanel or ISPConfig because both had issues installing.
I found AAPanel to have a lot of features, but if you need anything beyond the basics, you need to pay in their app store. CloudPanel doesn’t come with a mail server (though MailCow is easy to add), and has some nice features such as snapshots at supported providers and very nice CloudFlare features. However, it is very opinionated! You will use its stack and nothing else.
Hestia and KeyHelp are more geared towards admins than end users. KeyHelp has a “pro only” app installer, but is somewhat more user friendly. With Hestia you’ll need to dip into the terminal sometimes.
You won’t believe how differently these panels perform in benchmarks!

thank you so much, i didn’t know about some of them.
I was actually comparing many of them and had my eyes on CloudPanel and FastPanel as they both cover my needs.
You drew my attention with the “MailCow is easy to add” as i thought i shouldn’t use it because of the missing mailing feature while FastPanel has it.
Have you tried FastPanel by any chance?
Also i would love to know how the benchmarks went!

Never had issued installing cyberpanel and its also very robust platform with free litspeed server.
Cloudpanel and FastPanel is awesome
