Ryan, from Superior Networks, has written us to share some of their offers with us! These offers are located in France, so are ideal for our European readers.

Superior Networks is a UK-based sole trader and their domain has been around for over a year. The domain is WHOIS-protected, though, which should always make you think twice before putting in an order. I haven’t received any details on the hardware these servers run on, but they do have a guaranteed 200Mbps uplink, which is DDoS protected as per OVH’s standard offering. The connection can burst to 1Gbps and it is being shared per host node between all the servers on there. For anything other than these offers please use the coupon “LEB2014” for 35% off. If you give these guys a try, please share your experiences with us in the comments!
PayPal is currently the only available payment method. Refunds will only be given if there has been an actual problem with the service (like actual downtime), not to those that get cold feet after putting in an order. Anything related to Tor is not allowed and for full details I’d recommend you read their full Terms of Service.

how many cpu cores ?
We allocate all our VPS’s with access to 4 cores as per the way SolusVM allocates CPU allowances.
“not to those that get cold feet after putting in an order”
for UK sales am not so sure this applies. as we have a cooling off time of 7 days here
I believe that usually goes toward tangible goods only, not services.
not exactly.
i have had a 1and1 server and vps canncelled before today on those terms.
same with a o2 contract.
UK’s consumer protection laws cover intangible goods or services.
https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/284442/oft1008.pdf
“Product
14.17 The CPRs define a product as ‘any goods or service’ and
includes immovable property, rights and obligations.
14.18 … Immovable property is included, and so the
CPRs apply to the practices of traders concerned with the
sale or lease of land to consumers. The provision of credit to
consumers is also covered.”
and “This broad definition covers both physical and intangible things. “
We’ve been testing a box for about a month now and the network is pretty solid. So far so good. Not a glowing recommendation but something.
Thanks for the comment. Should there be anything you think we can do to improve in the future we are always open to idea’s and suggestions!
Server Specification ??
You get access to 4 cores of our 2 x Intel Xeon E5606 2.13 GHz processors. All the RAM is EEC to improve general stability of your VPS and the node that your server runs on.
E5606? That’s a horrible and old CPU imo.
We use what works out to be the best value for money. That way we can keep our costs down and the plans at the cheapest possible value. Its not ideal, but for the low end environment, its what we must do.
I bought a plan and i see 50TB B/w so is this for a month or whole year ? as my plan is annual .
It shows as 50TB as we have found no way to make Solus show unlimited. It is reset every month and the math was done that should make it impossible to go over anyway. In the event it does, nothing happens to your VPS as its not set to suspend on bandwidth limit.
Did a quick speed test using the looking glass from my server, sustained about 5-6MB/s (40-48mbps), decent speeds.
Careful with those ‘unlimited bandwidth’ packages though, don’t wanna get stuck with any bandwidth hoggers.
If vps ip is spamlisted by gmail, will u give refund?
In the event that it does happen and it can be proved that it was not caused by yourself we will switch you to another IP. If you caused it your service would be terminated without any refunds.

I was ready to buy a vps from you but I see there is no Ubuntu image avaliable on OS selection. Are you planning to add any version of ubuntu? Thank you.
it’s allowed to run ffmpeg instance inside your vps?
As long as it is legal, does not take up huge amounts of CPU Usage (See out TOS) there is nothing wrong with running it.

Ubuntu is available through SolusVM, we have just not managed to add it to the WHMCS billing panel as of yet. It should be coming very soon.
