Peter, from BoneVM, has sent me their first ever offer for LowEndBox. I haven’t seen too many offers from Portland yet, so to those living up in the north-west of the USA may find this interesting, as will those in Asia.
The offer
- 512MB RAM
- 512MB vSwap
- 1x vCPU
- 20GB SSD space
- 100Mbps uplink
- 1x IPv4
- No IPv6
- OpenVZ/SolusVM
- Coupon: LEB4
- $4/month
- Order here
BoneVM is a registered company in the state of Oregon, registration number 979646-97. Their WHOIS is not public, but given the fact that they’re a registered company that doesn’t really matter that much. BoneVM started in 2013 and uses servers with SSDs in RAID10 in order to make this a speedy piece of work. They focus on building a relationship with their customer rather than shaving off bucks until there’s nothing left at the end of the month, which is an good thing. So, if you become a customer of BoneVM as a result of this offer or if you already are one, please share your experiences with us in the comments!
Payments can be made using either PayPal or Bitcoin (via Coinbase). IPv6 is not available yet and I don’t know when it will be. Before you order, please read their Terms of Service.

One of the better VPS providers. I have a VM with them and the uptime is top notch.
Already buy a 512MB, and thanks for the promo code.
The TUN/TAP not work, and Bandwidth: 1000G, not Unmetered.
We worked out the TUN/TAP issue last night. Just needed to load a couple of modules on the hardware node and it started working.
The plans in SolusVM do have bandwidth limits set but they are set so they do not suspend or bill for overages. We do track bandwidth and other resource usage for informational purposes so that we can understand how to adjust our plans to fit how our customers use their systems.
Buy a $4 512MB VPS, and the CP is SolusVM.
