Have a few questions here:
1. Does the server have ILO management interface so client can manage(boot/reboot/reload) the server without bothering support?
2. If not, do you charge for rebooting and reloading OS?
3. What is the average support response time?
Cheers!
I have the same questions on #1 and #2 also.
I managed to find out the answer by myself
http://lowendbox.com/blog/skdedicated-e30month-x3330-8gb-2x250gb-dell-r200-in-rotterdam/
Hope the answer could apply to this one here too.
Hello,
#1 KVM/ILO is not included by default and can be ordered in the order process.
#2 All our servers come with the option to start/stop/reboot, view bandwidth statistics, set rDNS records, and reinstall your server at no additional costs.
We also do not charge anything for a hard reboot.
#3 This really depends on the amount of open tickets, most customers get an answer within the hour or faster.
There are however always exceptions.
Thanks for the information!
Can we specify that this is setup as RAID1 and would that be software raid or do these servers have a RAID controller built in
Hello Johnathan,
These servers come without an hardware RAID controller.
Software RAID is an option but currently only automated for Centos and Debian, all other distro’s have to be configured manually so we charge 15 minutes of remote hands for that.
Anyone applied for this offer, how did you find it and the support?
Would you recommend it for shared web hosting service?
support is very good here, and very quick
Ordered from this place this week, the support is very good. I ended up some how ordering the wrong server and the tech had no problem fixing my order with the box i originally wanted.
I did a few iperf tests on the wrongly ordered box and the peering was great with very good speed over all.
I have used a lot of providers over the years and none have had such quick and polite techs as this place. 10/10 would use again.
