VaporNode has been featured once before on Low End Box in April 2015, and since then they have continued to develop and improve their customized VPS control panel; that means no SolusVM, which should make some customers very happy. They were also featured in one of our 2015 Community Roundup posts. Today VaporNode is offering a total of three packages, a combination of VPS and Cloud services all exclusive to Low End Box! As always, comments and feedback based on experience with this hosting provider are appreciated.
In their own words:
VaporNode is a web hosting and managed solutions provider based in Florida. We have been around since 2013 and focus on VPSs, dedicated servers, public cloud, and colocation. There are two aspects of VaporNode that set us apart: a) the attention to detail and specific information you get when interacting with support is unparalleled; we are a hands-on transparent company, b) our virtualized services (VPS, public cloud) benefit from our custom control panel which is intuitive yet flexible. Our new flagship location, Tampa, FL, has just opened and we are celebrating that by posting a new LEB offer.

What exactly Unique??
Not many providers are doing LXC yet.
As a guest, is there any difference between LXC and OVZ?
From a user perspective there is very little difference. You might not even notice the small changes that are there.
Does the console use Java or is it Mac friendly? Do you offer IPv6? How about Freebsd 11?
Great offer!!
Hey Craig! Our VNC console uses HTML5 (noVNC). There’s no Java involved and should work fine on a Mac. We do offer IPv6 on LXC or KVM for no additional charge. Currently we have the FreeBSD 10.3 ISO only – I’ll get 11.0 ISO up now.
Thanks for the quick response. Beta testing FreeBSD 11 for you. Great service!

Can I create one big vps with all resource allocated with this? Aka. Ram, Ips… etc.
Thanks
Yes you can!
Have had a small KVM box with them for close to a month now. I’ve never seen ticket response times so fast, questions are answered in minutes. Things have been stable so far, no hiccups.
Is there (or will there be) good Ansible support? I like to be able to provision a set of servers quickly and automatically.
Robert,
This isn’t something we support right now. You would need to setup your own control node first. If you want to discuss your requirements one on one, just toss an email our way!
Hi Vapornode, is some coupon or something inside?
