LowEndBox - Cheap VPS, Hosting and Dedicated Server Deals

Audefy - $6.35/Month 512MB Xen VPS in Netherlands

Aaron, from Audefy, has emailed in a XEN based offer located in the Netherlands. I noticed they have a controversial ‘6% processing fee’ which is added in WHMCS, so I’ve included the fee into the price shown here.

Xen VPS – Red

  • 512MB Ram
  • 1024MB Swap Space
  • 20GB Disk Space
  • 150GB Bandwidth
  • 1Gbps Port Speed
  • 4 vCPU Cores
  • 1 IPv4 Address
  • Xen/SolusVM
  • $6.35/Month – Order Link
  • Location: Netherlands

Audefy, a registered company in Toronto, Canada, have been providing hosting services for the last three years. They have been featured on LowEndBox twice and their last offer, for a $6.80 512MB Xen VPS in Seattle, was posted on LowEndBox in November 2011. The most noticeable change from when we last listed them, is that servers are no longer located in Seattle, Washington but are located on another continent (Europe) in the Netherlands. Aaron describes in the ticket how they are no longer with the “disastrous datacenter UP2VPS” and “InfiniteTech [their Netherlands provider] have proven to be amazing thus far!”. If you’ve followed the UP2VPS saga you won’t be surprised by his comments.

They provide a 7 day refund policy bearing in mind that you’ve got a valid reason to request one. Torrents, VPN and IRC are allowed but the sharing of copyrighted material, spamming, DDOS, hacking or anything that is illegal is not allowed. They accept payments via PayPal or 2CheckOut (direct Credit Card processing) and claim that their merchant information, and legitimacy, has been verified by 2CheckOut as they required Audefy to scan in their Business registration etc. Further information can be found in their Terms of Service.

Network Information:

Servers are located with InfiniteTech in the Netherlands and their Bandwidth is provided by FiberRing.

  1. Their logo seems more like “Nudefy” instead of “Audefy”, at least in my eyes.
    Bandwidth is a deal killer.

Thanks Zahra for posting our ad!

Also, bandwidth is limited due to the steep pricing our Datacenter has imposed on us. Hopefully it will go down with time. Remember, we’re still new with them so pricing for us will be steep until we order more.

Strange – why not allowed adult content, if law Netherlands allowed this?

Usually Netherlands choose, because loyal law.

Our Terms of Service page is slightly outdated since the move to the Netherlands provider. Ideally, as long as you follow InfiniteTech’s TOS you should be fine. We will soon update our TOS to match theirs.

Hi Aaron, I tried to submit a ticket to you guys through the panel but it’s not working for some reason. I emailed support@audefy.com, please get back to me when you have a chance.

That’s strange, as we are still receiving tickets.

Also, anything sent to support@audefy.com is forwarded to our ticketing system. Perhaps they’re being marked as junk and are getting deleted.

Could you email me directly at aarom@audefy.com ?

      Thanks in advance.

I believe I know why you wanted to open a ticket. I have set your order to pending so you may continue and skip the check.

Hmm, it appears after the WHMCS upgrade to 5.1.3 support tickets can’t be opened. We’re attempting to restore our WHMCS so that these functions are returned once again.

    We apologize for the delay.

We’re currently rebuilding PHP, Apache, and Nginx so our Billing will be slow or won’t load. We’ll post a reply when this has completed.

Since our new Datacenter is charging extra for IPs they used to include for free, we have to bump our pricing only slightly.

The Red package as listed above is now $6.49 before fees which comes to $6.88 after fees which is still well under the $7 mark.
