As of this morning, Uber has the following positions open:
- Senior Security Engineer – Application Security
- Security Engineer – Penetration Testing
- Security Engineer II
- Security Incident Commander II
- Technology Senior Security Strategist
- Tech Lead: Penetration Testing
- Senior Mobile Security Engineer
- Senior Threat Detection Engineer
…and quite a few more. They need to fill these openings because they’ve been hacked by an 18-year-old.
That age cohort has been on the march. One of them swiped $16bn in crypto earlier this year. I guess the “How to Become a Teen Hacker” guide on WikiHow is really paying off.

Hi PDK, we see this type of tech/security related news as pertinent to our, hopefully, expanding audience at LowEndBox. We are working to shape LowEndBox into a platform where users come for the deals and stay for the rest of the interesting content we offer (a neat combination of news, tutorials, laughs/memes, etc).
