CharityHost isn’t just for charities!
I mean, that was that first question I had when I saw this community provider hit the airwaves. Are they only offering service to 501(c)3s and nonprofits? Or are they a charity themselves?
Neither, actually. They’re a straight-up provider who has great deals on both virtual private servers (VPS) and Plesk shared hosting, both based out of Texas, USA.
And if you happen to be a nonprofit, or other qualified charity, you can get even bigger discounts.
Now, what are we always railing about to providers: differentiate yourself! To many copy-of-a-copy providers out there and they vanish in a sea of sameness. Here’s a provider who’s found a marketing angle, and one that probably makes a lot of business sense: attract a cheaper but very sticky base of subscribers that pay the bill, and then layer on the profit-generating general public.
A unique angle and identity! See guys, it isn’t that hard.

These are VDS. Not exactly the same as VPS, but similar in features just has more available resources as they are allocated less than 1:1
