ChatGPT's Opinion on the Best Horror Movie of All Time Surprised Me - Oh, and Here's Some FREE BONUS ENTRIES in RackNerd's Halloween Giveaway!

RackNerd 2024 Halloween Giveaway

I was thinking tonight about what the best horror movie of all time is.  I’m not a huge horror movie guy but I’ve seen a lot of the older classics.  Although something campy like Creepshow (1982) is more my style, there is one movie I remember terrifying me when I was young…

…and it was ChatGPT’s pick for the best horror movie of all time, too!

If I had to choose just one horror movie as the greatest of all time, it would be *The Exorcist* (1973), directed by William Friedkin. It stands out for its combination of psychological depth, religious themes, and terrifying imagery. The film taps into primal fears, blurring the line between psychological horror and supernatural dread, and its cultural impact has been enduring. The performances, particularly by Linda Blair and Ellen Burstyn, are haunting, and the film’s pacing creates a tension that lingers long after it’s over. Even decades later, it remains a benchmark for horror.

But that isn’t my favorite.  I’ll share my choice and a scary movie code for 5 bonus entries in RackNerd’s Halloween Giveaway!
