LowEndBox - Cheap VPS, Hosting and Dedicated Server Deals

CheapWindowsVPS - $5/month 512MB, $7/month 1GB KVM in three US locations

Cheap_Windows_VPS_Hosting,_Budget_Windows_VPS_-_2014-06-15_10.32.26Tony, from CheapWindowsVPS, is back with two offers for LowEndBox readers. CheapWindowsVPS was founded earlier this year, somewhere in February. The domain is a lot older (first registered in 2007), so I assume Tony bought it to start offering these services. Host nodes use dual Intel Xeon E5-2620v2 CPUs, have 160GB of RAM, and are packet with 8x 1 TB Solid State Drives in RAID50 backed up by an LSI RAID controller. Needless to say, that is quite the beast of a machine. You also get plenty of disk space with this VPS. I haven’t got much experience with Windows Server myself, but I think a good chunk of that disk space goes to Windows itself. However, with 40GB of disk space in total, there should be plenty of room for your own software and files as well. Since last time, Buffalo was added as a location, Bitcoin was added to the payment methods, and Windows 2003 was added to the list of available Windows versions. The 512MB special is exclusive to LowEndBox and is not part of their regular offering. The IPv6 is unavailable at this time. If you decided to give CheapWindowsVPS a try, please let us know how it goes!

  2. That’s pretty impressive. Only 2 out of the 3 test IPs (LA, Chicago) are dirty and blacklisted by Spamhaus. Congratulations on finding one clean test IP (Buffalo). :P

If one doesnt use the IP’s for mail , does it matter if the ip is blacklisted or not at spamhaus?

Depending on the DC, they can pull the plug on providers if they find that the providers IP addresses continue to be used to spam and/or the provider shows no interest in putting a stop to the spamming. Seeing how their located in ColoCrossing data centers and ColoCrossing doesn’t seem to care about their IP addresses being blacklisted, you have less of a chance of something happening.

便宜VPS推送 is right; the CPU is way oversold.

    Each node:
    12 CPU cores @ 2.1ghz
    160GB RAM
    7TB HD

    That’s about 160 1gb (or 320 512m) VPSes (without overselling RAM/HD)
.075 real CPU core on the 1gb VPSes (.0375 CPU core on the 512s).

Equivalent to a 100-150mhz ‘vCPU core’ on the 1g VPS (50-75mhz on the 512s)!

    I’m so pissed off
Server hangs EVERYDAY. I don’t know if that was cause of their overselling CPU. anyways
if the server hang, they must re-enable remote desktop. so you gotta submit ticket, ticket takes HOURS to get answer.
it’s cheap price I shouldn’t be complaint but I had good experience with other hosting company at lowendbox so,
compare to other $7 servers here, i do not recommend.
