cloudieweb com 2015-02-01 18-30-45Justin, from Cloudieweb, has sent in an exclusive offer for LowEndBox readers for 25% off their Xen VPS offer located with Choopa in New Jersey, NJ, USA.

The offer

  • 512MB Swap
  • 1x dedicated 2.2Ghz CPU core
  • 500GB transfer
  • 200Mbps guaranteed uplink speed
  • 1Gbps burst uplink speed
  • 1x IPv4
  • 1x IPv6
  • XenPV or XenHVM/SolusVM
  • Optional: Windows Server 2008 R2
  • Coupon: lowendbox
  • $3.75/month

As mentioned above, Windows is included for free if you choose a Windows VPS. I’m assuming you can also install Linux from ISO on those machines as well; please contact them to make sure. The Linux order link points to a XenPV machine. Cloudieweb are in the process of getting registered as a business and according to him they’re allowed to be represented as Cloudieweb Inc in the mean time. These offers include a free Comodo Positive SSL certificate, which is always nice. Please ticket the box while ordering to get it. I haven’t been able to find any real reviews. I did find them mentioned on hackforums.net while doing a Google search but I couldn’t get to the details of that. Feel free to share your experiences in the comments.

Payment methods accepted are: PayPal, Skrill (Moneybookers), Bitcoins, bank transfer, and SMS payment (on request). There’s a 30-day refund policy in place in case you are not satisfied because of downtime, DDoS attacks, etc. Be sure to read their Terms of Service for the full details on that and other things. And while you’re reading, have a look at their Acceptable Use Policy as well.

    Went to sign up, looks like the offer is not recurring:
    $3.75 USD for the first month
    Then $5.00 USD for each month

    I’m not so sure about these guys. Site claims to be an actual corporation – “Cloudieweb Inc.” – the billing information in my invoice shows this:
    ~~~
    Cloudieweb Inc.
    Bulgaria
    Dobrich
    9300
    ~~~

    But my PayPal payment went to a personal account: “Gyuldanur Salieva”
    A quick Google search found no records whatsoever for this being registered as a corporation, though I may have missed a few states.

    Interesting read here as well, complete with a bit of whining from the owner:
    http://webflake.sx/topic/10718-%E2%98%85%E2%98%85cloudieweb-inc%E2%98%85%E2%98%85-pure-ssd-cloud-web-hosting-%E2%98%85free-first-month%E2%98%85-tier-4-new-york/

    Seems like I flushed $3.75 down the toilet today. Oh well.

      WHOIS Output:

      Registrant City: NEW YORK CITY

      Registrant Fax:

      350 Fifth is the Empire State Building. It looks like “Justin” forgot to change the country from Bulgaria to the United States — and the second street line, too.

      New York State has no record on file for “Cloudieweb Inc.” either. I don’t mind that this host is based out of Bulgaria or run by an individual, but why lie?

      • The company ownership is complicated, we have several owners and partners responsible for the financials of the company. We are free for a live chat sessions if you need proofs. Also you didn’t flush your money, open a ticket if you need any help.

          Why don’t you give us a basic explanation of the company layout so that all LEB users can buy with confidence? What appears to be a nonexistent corporation is likely to scare anyone away. Why state is “Cloudieweb Inc” registered in?

          February 3, 2015 @ 6:10 pm | Reply
          • As originally stated in the advertisement, we are not yet registered but we are allowed to represent ourselves this way. In some countries this is possible.

          • Mike Hat:

            Since you market yourself as a corporation (“Cloudieweb Inc”) I’m assuming that you intend to register in the United States. Which state will this business be registered in? There’s no “in some countries” here — corporate registrations are done in each state.
