    • Hi Wulfy,

Thanks for your comment. It’s just a mistake in the article. It does mention on top and in the description that our UK location is in Coventry.

        • Corrected :). The reason why this confusion had occurred is because we had recently stopped stocking our London location. The offer was sent to LEB months ago while we still provisioned new customers in our London location with 100TB. Existing customers are still hosted there but anyone is free to move to Coventry.

Not much info about you on your website, the only thing I found was your domain has only been registered six months. I really need a UK VPS, but I’m not willing to take a chance on a new company. I’ll wait for OVH..

  6. Keijo D.:

New customer to Enoctus for 2 months and counting; all I can say is that their VMs deliver plenty.

At first I decided to spin their tiniest LEB tier Linux VM in the UK, and surprisingly it responded beyond expectations due to their KVM implementation and an easy to use control panel with lots of features. The uptime is great, the bandwidth and ping were decent, and the “you get what you pay for” excels with them.

Two more spins on the second tier LEB Linux got even better. The machines in the US (New York and Los Angeles, respectively) are fast, the templates are easily adaptable, no frills for the task they were assigned to do. So I decided to get some more to build a rig; that deserved a little conversation with Erik.

Erik has been more than professional, he understood right away what I wanted to do/get, added some server-candy to the mix, and off we went. A test VM that I stressed out to the max and still over-delivered set me on sail to make a small rig of 5 Linux LEB2 plus 1 Windows LEB. Tests passed onto production, ‘allizgood’, working perfectly.

All in all, the negligible nags I found (although they don’t really diminish the POWERFUL products they’ve put up for LEB regulars) are:
    — The KVM visor (QEMU on VNC) screws-up my keyboard layout (latam), so ssh/mstsc with keyboard locale transfer are a must. Regardless of correctly setting up the corresponding set on either Linux/Windows, the browser/viewer doesn’t send the matching keystrokes.
    — Some infrequent network latency on the UK server leading to ping timeouts and session reset. I know it’s not on my side.
    — The e-mail communication links (tickets, updates, etc) go through sendgrid. Not the biggest fan of e-mail tracking, here.
    — Last but not least, what’s up with rating every single closed ticket? I know, it’s a funny request but please, pretty please, after the 4th 5-star rating, please stop asking me how I feel about any other issue(s) and what you can do to improve in the future, or if I’d recommend the service to my friends. You guys are great already, don’t spoil it :-)

My final notes are: the service is cheap enough to spin several VMs, short and long-term, having PayPal as a payment method adds an extra security layer (shielded against hit-and-run), KVM vs ProxMox/SolusVM/frankenbuilds is a clear winner, if you know your way around devops you’re good to go.

    6 stars out of 5.

I wouldn’t touch these guys with a mile long pole – no response to my ticket in 5 days. No discernible level customer service to speak of…Avoid.

    Hello,
    After testing this provider:
they started really good, answering tickets within hours !
now i have my servers down for 18 days and opened 2 tickets with no reply at ALL !!!
my advice is to forget dealing with them.

Stay away from this company…you should not engage with this unreachable company.

VPS down since 10 days.. I have raised few tickets so far in a hope someone will pick uo, no response at all to any tickets.

    Control panel does not work.

it seems the company just disappeared in the blue..

  10. I’m convinced they’ve gone out of business after seeing complaints here and trustpilot.
The problem is honestly all of us. It is nearly impossible to sustain business at these price points.

It would be very hard at these prices to break even after paying for servers/colo, bandwidth and IPs.

All of enoctus servers are down. Their phone number is not operational. Their email server rejects emails. The worst hosting company ever. We lost all of our data now.
