LowEndTalk member @thedp shared news that registrar netim is offering a special price on .eu domains.
From May 3rd through May 12th, you can register a .eu domain for only €12 for 10 years! That’s a pretty cheap domain offer. Note this discount only applies to creations, not renewals or trustee service.
If you’re interested, read more on netim’s blog.

This discount reoccurs every now and then (i think last time in December and before that in September 2020).
While this is a really really good offer, one should keep in mind that netim yet has to offer some pro features.
I got an additional .eu Domain today (and now have a total of 3 discounted ones valid until beyond 2030 – that sounds very looong).
The DNS management WebUi seems like it needs a major overhaul. You can’t set a TTL for A/AAAA records as far as i can tell. No DynDNS service available. Editing RR is not possible, you have to recreate them.
Maybe minor things if you just want to “secure” a .eu domain and i’d still recommend to use it, but cheap is not only the price.
Great discount!
