Calling India’s new surveillance regulations “over-reaching,” ExpressVPN has announced they’e pulling out of India. The new rules – which take effect June 27 – require VPN providers to share details on request with the government, going back five years.
If you prioritize privacy, this means ExpressVPN has your back. It’s impressive considering that they were bought last year and the new owners are doubtless hungry to get a payback on their investment. Turning aside a vast market in the name of customer privacy speaks well of ExpressVPN.
And now the question is: who else in the industry will follow suit?
If you’re looking for a cheap VPN, we have the best ExpressVPN coupon. Check out our page with all the details!
