LowEndBox - Cheap VPS, Hosting and Dedicated Server Deals

HostedSimply - KVM Plans on sale for Limited time, Los Angeles Datacenter!

HostedSimply sent in a great deal on some KVM Plans offers in Los Angeles. These looked pretty good to us, so we are passing them on to LEB readers. They have a 1GB, 2GB and 4GB plan on sale for a limited time, details of these plans are below.

You can find their ToS/Legal Docs here. They accept PayPal, Credit Cards, Bitcoin and Alipay as payment methods.

I signed up nearly 12 hours ago. I’ve received two emails from fastspring stating that I’ve been charged $120. I opened a ticket a while after the first email arrived, and my invoice still showed unpaid.

The ticket was escalated to an admin with this comment: “While our support department is available 24×7, please keep in mind that our admin department is staffed during regular business hours and excludes holidays.”

So, since it’s now Friday night, well past business hours, I don’t expect they’ll even bother updating the ticket again until Monday.

I note that they have a 24 hour refund policy. The cynic in me wonders if this is their way to try to weasel out of issuing refunds at all.

At this point, I can’t say this flash sale is worth looking at. :/

Today, after I requested a refund numerous times, they finally sent me information as to how to access my VPS’s control panel. Stay far away. I’m going to try to pursue a refund one way or another, since they apparently cannot provide even a working control panel integration so I didn’t even bother trying to log into the VPS once they *finally* sent me information as to how to access it.

They didn’t even provide any sort of “we’re sorry”. Just a bunch of “please wait” updates and then a “it’s already provisioned, here’s the info” with a tone of “you idiot, you should have inferred the web address of the correct control panel to use, as well as the usernames and passwords!” :(

And of course they went silent when I asked for a refund. No service provided (their info doesn’t even work…) and they won’t refund? That’s a nope. Skip HostedSimply. There’s nothing simply or hosted about them TBH.

It should be noted that there is zero contact information for the company aside from their ticketing system. This probably should have been a huge red flag. Hopefully my $120 hassle saves someone else in the future from the pain of this company.

        • Agree, this should be a huge red flag for everyone interested.

    STAY AWAY FROM THEM…

VPS very unstable and always going offline..

They don’t answer support ticket questions properly and dodge answer and say “Its fixed now” with out explaining why when the same thing happens over and over
