Hosting provider HostMantis has announced that it is moving all hosts to DynamicHosting.ca.
“As of July 1st, 2022, to continue our evolution we are partnering with Dynamic Hosting. Going forward, Dynamic Hosting will be managing all monitoring, technical support, and billing services accordingly.”
The community has translated “are partnering with” to “sold our business to”. Nothing wrong with selling a business but not sure why they use such cryptic language.
DynamicHosting is based on Canada and according to their website, they were founded in 1999, though Wayback has an interesting take on that. Datacenter and support will be in Canada.
Apparently this is not just a “here are our leases” kind of move where only the name on the invoice changes. Customers are going to be picked up and moved to new serves. “As part of the Partnership with Dynamic Hosting our hosting infrastructure is being upgraded to the latest technologies. This upgrade will require a migration to the new platform that our support team will manage for you during a scheduled maintenance window that suits you.”
As always, we wish the best for customers. Are you affected? Are you staying with DynamicHosting? Let us know in the comments below!
