I signed up for the Westmere server and they had up and running with my OS of choice in around 90 minutes. Amazingly fast service!
I’ve had services with JDC for almost 6 months now. I’ve had to request support only once to reboot my server, even then, it was my fault that the box locked up.
No automated console for reinstalling OS s why I never tried their services.

There is no way to pay anything other than monthly. I used to host with them. They are great. But if I dont pay half yearly or yearly, every time a new bill arrives it prompts me to go looking for better bargains and leads to my cancelling the previous server and moving to the better offer. If I pay yearly I can forget that for a whole year.

The L5420 machine with 16GB of RAM and at least 2 HDD’s (maybe 2x250GB) and with a /29 IPv4 Block, as i see also ‘Sandy’ wants a /29, and discounts on semi-annual and/or annual payments, like ‘Alex’ asked.

– Colocation, bought a box in EBAY, shipped it to Joe and have them setup with no hassle
– Dedicated Servers, probably had around 5, no issues with the support, they can give you KVM on scheduled basis
Currently I have a 20USD box on them running for 6 months with no issues!
Are there any copyright shows?
I been using their service since last promo and so far i have no complaints, except strange incident which happened on start where network settings was disabled by itself. Hopefully there wont be any problems in next 5 years :)

Can anyone provide some feedback of service today? Reliable? I’m looking for a VPS or Dedicated service reliable and good value.
I manage 2 x dedicated boxes from Joe’s. One for the company I work for, and one for personal projects. Picked up both during the April promo, and have been very happy with the units, transit, and service. IPMI sometimes gets stuck, but easily fixed with remote reset tool, but that is the nature of the IPMI unit on that brand of box, nothing to do with Joe’s.
I came back here to check if there was any new promos on as a friend just asked me about the dedicated provider I use.
You want to know what bad service is ? CloudAtCost – had a dedicated there before Joe’s.
This isn’t some auto deploy managed fancy stuff – this are good bulk units and you’re expected to know what you’re doing on them. If you can’t re-install an OS by yourself with IPMI access this might not be the servers you are looking for.
