Needed 2 TB HDD for backup storage. Unfortunately they don’t offer a hardware upgrade for a 1-time fee. Too bad …

    • The dedicated servers market is the business of leasing hardware. If customers want one time hardware purchases we recommend colocation.

says 20 tb, not 33 tb limit.

    September 2, 2017 @ 5:49 am | Reply
    • Sorry about that, we have fixed it so it is now 33TB as advertised. If you purchased and were only given 20TGB just submit a ticket and we will get it adjusted for you at no cost.

How long is this deal active and is this a reoccurring discount or just the first month?

    September 2, 2017 @ 11:26 pm | Reply
    • Staff:

      Yes, first month only.
      15 servers in stock.

Might want to add that to the listing, not just here in the comments. :D

Additionally, your purchasing page does not say “first month only” either, it makes it sounds like it is a reoccurring fee of $38/$43 each month respectively.

      • The price is monthly not one time. We have over 100 of these on-site but were still in the process of getting some of them racked so we have not updated the quantity on the website.

Thank you for the clarification, do you by any chance have a free trial offer? I did not see one on the site and was hoping to give a box a spin for a few days before I commit. I’m looking to replace a few dedis that I have with various companies and consolidate into a single provider.

          September 3, 2017 @ 12:16 pm | Reply
          • No I’m sorry all our servers are month to month paid in advance. Due to the nature of our industry we also do not offer refunds. However I encourage you to look at our reviews online as we have been around for 9+ years with positive feedback from our clients.

may i ip announce, any fee?

    September 3, 2017 @ 1:17 pm | Reply
    • You can use your own IP addresses if we are able to announce them. To do this, you will need to submit a LOA that will need to be approved by our upstream providers. We also charge a $50 set-up fee for this, due to the configuration changes we have to complete.

Is the 33TB traffic quote an aggregate of ingress and egress or just egress?

I got a dedicated server from the previous deal and have been really happy with the service from Joe’s team. I recently ordered upgrades to RAM and HDD and they were very accommodating with the timing of the work and the whole process in general.

  9. Robert Winkelmann:

Outside of not having the ability to reboot my server and OS reinstalls taking a pretty good amount of time the service itself is fantastic and stability was never an issue. With some of the things I do both are important features I had to go elsewhere to have but if they are not urgent needs you can’t go wrong with the service itself.

    • Eldon McGuinness:

Can you elaborate on the issue you mentioned a bit? You can’t reboot?

      September 8, 2017 @ 4:42 am | Reply
      • Robert Winkelmann:

You have to contact them and submit a ticket and wait for a reboot. Many dedicated servers have a reboot/power option in the control panel so I do not have to wait for support in case of an urgent issue with the box locking up.

-NORMALLY $64/month, NOW ONLY $43/month for LEB viewers!

so it’s $43/mn for as long as I keep it? or is it $43 the first month, then $64 from then on ??

I tried signing up friday morning. Received three different emails for account creation, order confirmation, and an invoice. Checked my order status online, my invoice now says cancelled, have recieved no reason as to why. Created a trouble ticket Friday, no response to it yet.

Customer service seems to not exist.

And now the invoice says fraud and still zero communication… Trouble ticket still unanswered. Lame.

      • This happened to me on another provider – their software automatically flagged the fact that my billing address is in one country, and my IP address is from another country, to be “suspicious”. They have to manually fix it for you….

        September 11, 2017 @ 8:41 am | Reply
      • Paul:

They did get back to me today. All they could tell me was MindMax flagged my order as possible fraud, not why it was flagged.

Had personal and company dedicated boxes from Joe’s since early 2016. Transit and instances have always stable. IPMI a bit flakey sometimes, but a BMC reset, and back in business. On the rare occasion that I have had to submit a ticket, it was resolved very quickly. Ordered another 2 from this promo, but with upgraded memory.

    • Richard:

Sadly no IPMI/BMC access on these ones, so they did no fit our needs.
