We recently got the memo that RackNerd restocked KVM VPS inventory in their Los Angeles location (after being sold out for quite a while due to popular demand). We noticed that a lot of their locations restock, sell out and repeat. Los Angeles itself took longer than usual to restock so be sure to look at their below deals and sneak one.
Looking Glass/network test information for all available locations, including Los Angeles DC-02 will be mentioned at the bottom of this post.
It looks like their latest LEB specials (below) are available for deployment in Los Angeles, among other locations such as Dallas, Chicago, Atlanta, New York, Ashburn, and Seattle. Grab them while you can, because we can’t say how long until these are gobbled up this time around! As far as payment methods are concerned, they accept PayPal, Credit Cards, Alipay, Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, Ethereum, USDT, USDC, UnionPay, and Boleto as payment methods.

I was happy with Racknerd till today. They suspend my VPS with reason:
Suspension Reason: Running own Windows (SPLA Violation) — to run Windows you must utilize a RackNerd Windows VPS plan in accordance to Microsoft SPLA.
I checked the their terms very carefully when place order because I order it for my clients, there is no terms about not allowed to use my own windows on KVM plans, and my vm was on windows for over 1 year without getting any warn.
Today they suddenly suspended my service. Firstly they said that I violate their terms of service. Then after that they agree that there is no such term like that. But finally they still say that “running windows VPS is prohibited on our “KVM””
They also say that “It still not allowed even i have valid license or using trial version which download from microsoft public website”
I just feel tricked. And now they still not want to put this term on their website, they keep this rule hiddenly and waiting for fishes biting
Hi Anh, thank you for commenting. What you’ve posted is accurate, this violates SPLA. So this is not something we can allow.
We legally license Windows, and providers who do the same cannot allow client owned licensing on infrastructure provided by RackNerd, or in general by said provider. This is common within the industry, and you’ll find this to be true with those who obtain licensing legally.
I can’t find LA DC when clicking on the offer, is it an error?
Hi Blomma, we sincerely appreciate your interest. Great catch by the way!
Our Los Angeles location is currently sold out, despite recently replenishing inventory in this location. We continue to thrive, and scale quickly, and have found that despite our efforts to maintain inventory we sell out very quick.
We have more shipments on the way, and hope to have inventory live for this location less than two weeks.
