It says 4GB RAM on the order page. Likely just a typo.

I purchased the Unmetered 2GB KVM VPS (“Unmetered Bandwidth | 1000Mbps Port”) from LosAngelesVPS, and through November 29th to December 4th used about 1830GiB of traffic (total up/down), peaking at 720GiB for Nov 30th. Some time December 3rd the 1Gbps line was *silently* capped to *5Mbps*.

On the 4th I created an issue asking about this, and by evening was told it was limited “because it was excessively using high amount of bandwidth. which is affecting other user on same node.” On a “1Gbps unmetered” port, for peaking at 72Mbps. Oversell much?
The terms of service (https://www.losangelesvps.com/terms-of-service/) state “Maximum sustained expected utilization is about 30% of the port capacity.”, which, quickmaths, should be 300Mbps.

    LosAngelesVPS agreed to a refund.

I purchased it to be able to have control again. I’m a light user and must say this is way faster & a better deal than ovh ever was.

Site is generally smooth and not bloated.

Now I just have no clue exactly what to use it for lmao.

Still trying to remember how to do certain things.

    The support is non-existent.
Took a week to configure the VPS due to the ad-hoc setup by LA.

Had to move elsewhere before I end up pulling my teeth out.
