David, from OrbitServers, has sent us in a new coupon code for their 1GB OpenVZ plan. The code, LEB100 – which expires Jan 1 2014, makes the offer $1.95 cheaper than it previously did.
OpenVZ – 1GB VPS
|
Since their last, and only LEB, listing; they have steadily grown, overhauled their website, and increased their default port speed for all VPS clients to 100MB. David has told us that this advertisement will not appear on any other site or newsletter. OrbitServers are owned and operated by MPSERV LLC, who have been in business for 2 years and are based in Tennessee. They’re using nodes configured with the E3-1240v2 3.4ghz quad core processor, 32GB RAM and which have 4x 1TB Western Digital drives in Raid 10. If you sign up, or are already a client, do leave us a review below.
OrbitServers currently only accept payments through PayPal. They offer a ‘5 day refund policy and customer satisfaction guarantee’. You may cancel your service and request, and receive, a refund within 5 days for any reason. Additional IPv4 addresses can be purchased for $1.50 each per month. Quite a lot of things seem to be prohibited, including, but not limited to: Resource intensive Game Servers, IRC, Proxies and Warez. For a more detailed look at what is or isn’t allowed, do take a look at their Terms of Service.

Thanks for the listing! We are excited about offering our services on LEB again!
We actually accept payment via Amazon Payments and Credit/Debit over the phone as well now.
I’d never trust a webhosting company to record my credit card details OVER THE PHONE!
Hey Terry,
We wouldn’t either. That’s why we don’t record Billing Phone Calls. We’re also a registered LLC, who pays it’s taxes, which has a two year track record of legit business practices, outstanding customer support and bonded employees.
Though I totally understand apprehension, however many of customers requested the ability to take their payments over the phone, so we gave it to them.
We also do not save Credit Card information on our systems – too many companies, even large ones, have been hacked and we would never want to take a chance that kind of information could be gleaned from our systems.
Thanks for the reply.
Have a good read:

Buffalo, we meet again.
“They’re using nodes configured with the E3-1240v2 3.6ghz quad core processor”
Is that a typo, or are they running overclocked processors? The E3-1240v2 is 3.4GHz.
That would be a typo on our part with the submission.
The Processors are 3.4ghz
Can we have a week without bufffalo? ~_~
We have a box coming up in Phoenix in a little under 24 hours as well, which will offer the same price, the specs on the machine are a bit different though. Dual L5520 Processors, 72GB DDR3 RAM, 4X1TB Raid 10 w/BBU.
Maybe I’m missing something. What’s the problem with Buffalo?
It’s not really a problem, but it seems like every other service advertised on LEB is hosted at the ColoCrossing facility in Buffalo.
Hey Everyone,
We have finished setting up and adding a new VPS node in Phoenix Arizona, hosted in the PhoenixNap Data Center. When ordering, you can select either Buffalo or Phoenix.

MaxMind has deemed your order to be potentially high risk and therefore it has been held for manual review.
Seno,
I will need the order number, or the name on the account to look at this.
Please email me: david@mpserv.net or at orbit@mpserv.net
Nice website.
Nice website. But I think, it’s a little bit heavy for the eye.
Hey,
Thanks, and it is a little I agree – It’s still something we are working on improving. Compared to our old site however, it is a vast improvement.
Thanks for the comment!
You might want to add information on what I get for my money.
I would want to buy a 128MB openvz box in NY but your web site give no further information on bandwidth/hdd/ip/…
You got a pretty good speed for the download file – another company in buffalo has a lot worse connection.

We have the specs listed in this thread, but they are not up on the website yet – as we just added them a few days ago and our Web Developer is currently unavailable for personal reasons. I will try and get the page updated in the next couple of days.
