Yes. For default is off but after order you can contact support for activation of redis.
After 15 days they deleted my account without any reason.

Is SSH and rsync allowed? I could see using this as a backup for my WordPress sites, but I use rsync via cronjobs for the backup.

SSH disabled. Service include JetBackup (daily remote backup), you can download or restore last 7 daily backups from panel.
Had shared hosting from Silicom for few years and no issues to speak of. Honesty, I cannot find anything bad to say about them! Anyone screaming “fraud” is most likely a fraud :)
