    • Hi John!

Typically, users reaching out to the USA from China or Taiwan have a hard time due to saturation of peering ports operated by Chinese residential ISP’s. They suffer from high latency and packet loss which severely diminishes their Internet experience on websites hosted in the USA.

As the poor service is actually isolated on these users’ ISP’s it is very difficult for them to overcome. We have developed a specialized segment of our network specifically aimed at optimizing routing paths to provide Chinese and Taiwanese users with as good an experience as possible into the USA. Through specifically designated blocks of IP Addresses, a special selection of transit backbones, hand picked peering relationships, and a whole lot of continuous networking labor we have been able to provide the majority of Chinese and Taiwanese users with latencies around 200ms or lower and speeds fast enough to max out their residential broadband connections. We are constantly working to improve our possible route choices to make live changes should any specific paths become congested or problematic and dedicated a segment of our IP space to this allows our Asian traffic to directly benefit from these changes all without affecting the thousands of other clients who may not have any interest in this product. That being said, as our Asian Optimized network is a segregated network, we can make live routing changes based on your feedback. Please provide us with a traceroute or a MTR to support@quadranet.com and our networking team will handle this.

      Thanks for the interest!

Why did you delete my test ping result @LEB_ADMINS?

    • John,

From my understanding and previous experience, if you are a new commenter to LEB, your comment will await manual admin review before they are accepted and shown publicly on LEB.

Sorry for double-posting. I didn’t realize my comment was actually under moderation but thank you anyway @QuadraNet – Adam for the prompt reply and detailed explanation regarding the Asian optimized network. I’m interested to look for locations around Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong. Do you have any plans to expand in the SEA region? Regards, John.

Asia-optimized network for an additional $5/month, per server or per IP?

    • Hi Zeke,

For this offer, the +$5/m would be to replace the /29 IPv4 allocation included with a /29 IPv4 Asian-Optimized allocation.

      Thanks for the interest!

I purchased this, the server is what is advertised. An oldish supermicro board with quad core xeon, but as far as value for the money is concerned can’t be beat. Just on the bandwidth I’d pay five times as much colocating my own 1U. Service Desk was super responsive to tickets even at 3AM, even when the problem was located in between the keyboard and the chair. Now the only thing I’m afraid of is getting used to paying so little, although they say they wont jack up the price I’m sure these prices are linked to these particular servers and everything wears out eventually.

quadranet is the worst fucking provider you can find. Constant outages and support is not responsive at all, sometimes even rude. Things take months to get done and unless you keep asking them every day your service stays down….
