Maybe you should fix the price? Because you can’t pay monthly.
Also, it says 25 NZD, and Google says that is 21.07 USD

Some years ago QuickWeb was nice. But after some time we moved from them to another provider. There was no additional IPs in London, our VPS began to work sl-o-o-o-w and unstable (in the beginning it was good enough), support began to reply a bit weird and not so quickly like a time ago. And the last drop was an accident when QuickWeb’s administrator stopped our container and re-install the OS (it was the only choice as I remember). :) There was a message that our VPS generated a “bad” traffic (like DOSing). And administrator did not provide logs or any other information about this accident… But I’m sure that there was no any DOSing or etc.

May be now days QuickWeb is good again. :) Let’s try.

    • well have new set of brand new boxes with SSDs in London this week, we will offer initial batches in this prices :)

I’m not sure what happened there in your particular instance, when a server is under DDoS or causing DDoS there are procedures we do including null-routing or stopping VPS to avoid network saturation, reloading OS is a no no and never heard of such, if you can email us your ticket we can review it to find out what happened, there’s been lots of improvements lately with new Admin staff and our own bigger network as we run our own BGP and owned all of our hardware.

      Thanks.

    • we are having SSD plans in London and use our own IP blocks by end of the month or start April, we are looking at offering some slots via this LEB Plan at “same price”, if you can provide your ticket# i can investigate what happened there, when a customer is under DDoS there are procedures including null-route or stopping the VPS temporarily. I gladly welcome you to try us again :)

The Return of the Forgotten! :)
Nice offer. For those younger LEB members, LowEndBox.com was hosted on a Xen VPS sponsored by QuickWeb quite some time.

    • Hey yes nice to be back, we have been focus on our growing number of large customers last time and improving our own network. We bought a lot of hardware to handle the growth, of course we always go back to our roots and offer low cost solution so other people can afford our quality service, we are proven by then and unlike most newer host that can fail any time our customer can assure that they get what they pay for.

We invite lowendboxer new and old to try us again, we still host many of you actually on some of our plans since 2010 :)

    • Thanks, good to know. Probably better days than now (looks at CC logo).

    • We actually focused our business on our growing number of premium, larger costumers on custom plans in the last couple of years hence not much become active in LEB community as much as we liked as you may notice our lacked of regular offer postings here unlike other regulars. We built our own BGP network and acquired loads of hardware accommodate growth. But having said that we want to get back to our roots and offer low cost yet plans so everyone can experience our quality services. Many hosts exclusively targeting low end market segment however tend to come and go taking people’s money away before even fulfilling their obligations. At QuickWeb we assure you you’ll get what you pay for until the end of your term :)

We are still hosting number of LowendBoxers’ VPS since 2010 maybe some of them no longer active here but we still do have em hosted many transitioned to larger plans.

Yes the original LEB site was once hosted on our 80MB RAM VPS for nearly two years until the founder call it quits and turnover ownership to a group in the community which then transferred it to colo crossing after receiving great offer and the rest is history, site admins are doing great job keeping this site growing while still having the same look and fill of original.

Not sure what happened to LEB founder we called “LEA” (Lowend Admin) whether he was back again in the admin team or he’s helping in the background, i’m not sure… feel free to update me :D

Been a customer of theirs since April, 2010. (Xen, not OpenVZ, though.) In that time, the only tickets I’ve opened have been for PTR records, and the several migrations they’ve required.

They’ve been very stable and drama-free, and I highly recommend them, and not just because I once somewhat guiltily worked out that they’re probably technically losing money on the promotional plan I’m still on, three years later. :)

    • nice to meet one of our old time customers, don’t hesitate to contact us should you need anything else from our team :) yes we’ve done some migrations last couple of years as we retired old nodes or was moved to our owned hardware from leased ones when we start having our own BGP and IP space, that was part of growing pains however we had future proofed our business than before ;)

  8. Hello,
I have an old plan which is 25$ yearly with less traffic and 10Mbps port with you. Can I upgrade it to this plan and get it 15$ yearly?

  9. I can only recommend this guys, every time I had any sort of issue the answered quick and to the point of the problem.. I felt their migration to new hardware but it was quick and no drama.. Then there was problem with the node I was and when opened the ticked they decided to move me on the spot no dram..

Since then my container is working with no issue and I think they put me on the node that has SSD hard disk and vSwap I can’t complain about anything with this guys.. They rock.. My business will continue with them..

    To QuickWEB,

I am still your customer *NOW*

And I paid for $23.88 for my Budget Box VZ (Annually)

When I saw this $15 offer, it really made me upset,

The same hardware resource but with lower price,

a little unfair to you old/exists customer.

That’s just how business works some promotion runs at times, even in the grocery store they can run discounts from time to time, if you already bought one then you missed it then just try again next time to catch the promo. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation :)

My vps plan is due in 2 weeks and i have paid for the new renewal term.

i am asking for refund of the term that has not even started and that cannot even be done. it is not like i am asking for refund for the current term.

cant believe the double standards for your customers.

i shall not turn this into a argument, just for you LEB folks to decide on whether to sign up. Considering how to treat their existing customers.

        just my 2 cents worth.

Yep, totally right. VPS is a very competitive market nowadays,

you are really a outstanding company in the past year,

but since *RAMNODE* have the same positive reputation

and same price with much higher hardware spec.

and also they launch the west coast data center,

maybe it’s time to change a vps provider.

        April 30, 2013 @ 11:34 am | Reply
        • hello, thanks for the comments however this has nothing to do with our services or this promo all our promo prices are valid upon sign-up on applicable terms and conditions. we may have $5 VPS per year in the future but that does not mean all people who get avail this promo will be automatically entitled to it, that’s just the way it is. Our datacentre are selling racks much cheaper when we signed up but now but we understand we are not covered by those promo which is fair.

          May 7, 2013 @ 2:52 am | Reply
  16. Hello Guys,

London is now available same specs but uses SSD drive and brand 100% new machines but slightly more expensive at $2.99/mo or $23.88/yr (effectively $1.99.mo) due to higher operating cost in our London DC which hope everyone could understand as there’s very little profit here just to break even and we can make this possible for everyone :)

Download speed from OVH, Roubaix, FR: 107MB/s
Download speed from Ecatel, Amsterdam, NL: 60.8MB/s
Download speed from EvoSwitch, Haarlem, NL: 15.4MB/s
Download speed from SmartDC, Rotterdam, NL: 104MB/s
