StormVZ Ltd are a new vps provider which first emerged on LowEndTalk in September. This is their first listing at LowEndBox and they’ve started it off with an exclusive offer. Before they officially launched, they gave away a few free vps for people to play with; here is a ‘ServerBear’ benchmark from one. Their twitter suspiciously boasts some 12,000+ followers and their account has reportedly sent over 14,000 tweets. Don’t be fooled, with accounts like Yanira, Yancie and Hassen it seems like someone decided to buy a few followers.

They offer a full 5 day money back guarantee and are a registered business in England & Wales. Do check out their terms and conditions which is located here. If you’re looking for a larger plan, take a look at their vps page on their website.

It really is Spencer, just shows how hosts truly can get along.

    • We have not bought them actually, I had this account before the strict twitter API rules now and there were many scripts which did follow for follow. It was almost a test account to test all those scripts that were out there and followed users who tweeted “follow 4 follow” etc. and I eventually got over 20k or so and then ran a script to unfollow all just before the API restrictions changed.

Signed up for one of these the other day, solid so far. Initially, support has also been great, with tickets answered quickly even late in the evening, and very helpful too.

Yes, very nice site. Curious about the indefinite supply of diesel though…

in the case of a mains failure, power is provided by diesel generators capable of running the data centre indefinitely.
    October 10, 2012 @ 11:52 am | Reply
    • Mains power is fed from there dedicated substation into an advanced online Riello uninterruptible power supply (UPS) in an N+1 configuration, to provide clean and constant power to the server racks. Should mains power fail, the UPS systems continue to deliver full power to the racks, while the high-capacity diesel generator starts up.

Diesel fuel is stored on site to keep the generators running for several days, providing full power to the entire building.

In other words, it’s “CAPABLE” as quoted from our network page of running indefinitely as they would just re-fuel the tanks after a few days but by then usually all issues would have been resolved.
