LowEndBox - Cheap VPS, Hosting and Dedicated Server Deals

TheStack is Offering an E5 Dedi (32GB RAM, 20TB Bandwidth) in San Jose for $59.99/mo with No Setup Fee!

TheStack is back!  I know, I started their last offer with that same line, but it just flows so naturally.

They first came around back in April and have had a variety of offers for us.  This time, it’s a nice dedi in California:

  • $59.99/mo recurring for an E5 (6c/12t), 32GB RAM, 20TB/mo bandwidth, DDoS protection…with no setup fee!

TheStack has been providing hosting services since 2015.  They’re a Hong Kong-registered company (number 2256337) and have a variety of services, including shared, VPS, dedicated, and colo.  You might want to check out their blog which has some nice tutorials on Jenkins, LAMP stack, golang, and some web-oriented sysadmin tasks.  They are also hiring.

Here’s a bit about them in their own words:

TheStack has been providing high-quality web hosting services since 2015. We’ve served thousands of happy customers throughout the world so far, and we are constantly improving our services to get close to our mission: being reliable but affordable.”
Take a gander at their ToS, AUP, and Privacy Policy before signing up, and then if you’re good to go, you can pay with credit cards (via Stripe), Alipay, WeChat pay, Bitcoin, DOKU, Webmoney, PayTM, India UPO, or bank transfer.
As always, your fellow readers would love to hear about your experiences with TheStack, so please comment below.

I don’t recommend this service provider. I have used it for one year with no issues and decided to continue for next year – I payed up front whole annual fee.
After month service stoped working. It is still listed as active in panel, but I can’t access it – it says “contact support”. So I did. Its been over week since I created the ticked describing situation – absolutely no replay. Since I used this service for my own production purposes I was forced to choose different provider. I don’t expect to get my money back, as even support doesn’t hesitate to give me any sort of replay.

    Stay warned.

Thestack is a SCAM. My experience is exactly like boguslaw kaczalek’s, no customer support whatsoever, service cutoff within weeks of payment. They are specialists of closing tickets without a reply.
    Stay away from them.

Some notes on commenting on LowEndBox:

  • Do not use LowEndBox for support issues. Go to your hosting provider and issue a ticket there. Coming here saying "my VPS is down, what do I do?!" will only have your comments removed.
