Here is another low-cost VPS with 1GB of memory, which I would hardly call that “low end”. veVPS is just starting out, and is offering LowEndBox readers a special. Use promo code LowEndBox to get their “veMini” VPS package for $7/month (reduced from $8.95/month). Direct sign up link here.
- 1024MB memory
- 40GB storage
- 2TB/month data transfer on 100Mbps
- OpenVZ/vePortal
Servers are in Scranton with BurstNet (who seems to be vePortal’s biggest customer). No IPv6 however (unlike BurstNet’s own VPS plans), nor any IRC activity. Domain created merely a week ago. WHOIS shows a PA address that’s within 20 minutes of where BurstNet is and I am not sure how valid it is. This offer has also been advertised on WHT without the discount, and the same account is also running top-host listing site and selling a shared hosting shop.

BurstNET are one of the only users of vePortal. They use the excuse that SolusVM didn’t work on their servers, but thats because their CentOS Template they install on their dedicated server has broken repo’s which makes SolusVMs installation fail (although theres fix instructions on the web which I used).
BurstNET also pretty much give away vePortal, but in terms of feature and usability, its not as superior and standard as SolusVM.
I agree with Daniel here. It’s almost as if vePortal are developing BurstvePortal and basing it around their needs and when they point something out. I see nobody else even caring to offer it, nor do they want to.
So you reply to me here but you don’t reply to my sexually harassing messages on MSN? :)
I always do my dear :)
You`re cheating on me!?
A’hem. Please leave relationship issues on Bebo or Facebook :)
Ba’h humbug
Who needs Facebook or Bebo
you guys should get a room…
many underage readers here (customers and providers as well)
:)
LOL that’s SO ghey..
Burst.net have released some Windows based plan on SolusVM as a test
That is not true. Severcomplete uses veportal. They incorporated nicely. I have an account with them since last year. Unless they change it this year.
We do not, nor have we ever used vePortal ;) Our system is totally custom written from the ground up.
Just wanted to clear that up!
-Daniel
Does anyone have any experience with them?
I doubt it, since the domain is only a week old. :)
For those who ordered our LowEndBox offer and still waiting for provisioning, next VPS batch should be provisioned by the morning. We are sorry about the delay, but we received an huge amount of orders (lot more than expected) on the first 24 hour.
Not to pinch pennies… well yeah I will, every penny counts.
I understand issues with having alot of orders, but the clock is ticking. Thats less time I can abuse bandwidth(lol j/k). But you get my point don’t you? WHMCS’s clock is ticking, we paid on time and provisioning for OpenVZ doesn’t take that long(whmcs should be handling that anyway).
So far I’m 2 days shorted and you’re heading home with a two day backlog of orders?
I’ll take my refund thx.
Hey no problem just drop a ticket to get your refund, someone else will be glad to take that incredible offers as we are currently running low on stock.
We just completed another huge batch of VPS, servers ordered today after 19H est should be online by the morning (est)
Thank you!
Ticket submitted… lets see how long this one takes ;)
So I submit a ticket as advised only to receive this response:
“Please read our terms of service and submit cancellation/refund request properly has the VPS has already being setup within the 48 hours stated on our FAQ.”
Apparently you need the $7 badly.
Simply request your refund with proper reason has stated on our terms of service via email/ticket system and a refund will be provisioned. Thanks!
That was done, along with a note “as you directed”
Now you have modified your terms page and issued an invoice for a $175 administrative fee for disputing with paypal. And to think I was going to just let the $7 go. Not anymore. At least you could have had the motivation to put a logo on your invoice.
What a dirtbag way to keep $7. never even logged into the thing. Like I said before… keep the $7, good luck trying to collect the newly made up fee.
also figured you should know(so you can change your terms again), a dispute is not a chargeback YET. Its a method to resolve an issue. As you replied to it and have claimed i have received my vps, paypal “would” find in your favor. But being that I learned a lesson, I would have just used the vps for the month and gave you the $7, cancelling the dispute.
But the way you have handled this makes me wonder. Its not like you are going to get the $175 from me anyway. So now you’ve got me entertained and it’s going to be worth the $7 to make sure the word gets out. I’m going to wait for a few days before I cancel the dispute… thus invalidating your invoice for $175 for the “chargeback”. As since it was never charged back, the wording within your TOS becomes invalid and you’ve thus improperly billed me.
This is going to be fun.
——
Sorry LowEndAdmin & Daniel… I really don’t want to waste space on your site as I find it VERY helpful in finding great vps providers. But everyone should be aware of how this is being handled in order to make their own decisions.
Just read terms of service prior to signup with any commercial services. The billing manager who handled your account did the right thing.
I’ve just myself replied to your ticket and in good faith cancelled the fee and also make sure its refunded has soon paypal complete his investigation into your Non-receipt Item dispute.
Yep, I sure did get your email/ticket response and replying myself. Since its only $7(as I’ve said before, not alot) I’ll cancel the dispute. Which again makes me doubt some things. How is it you do not know that I can directly cancel it without their review? Are you THAT new? All it would have taken was communication, not “quickie replies” to make it look like you are working nicely with customers.
I’ll drop our conversation on WHT later, as I want to watch what happens. Since I want to call you on it, I’m going to go ahead and cancel the complaint. I don’t care that it cant be opened again. But there are a few more things I want to watch for.
Sure, spread the word about us ;) again make sure to state that everything happened in your case has been caused because you ordered a product and agreed with the terms of service then decided to do your own agreement with the service provide to you as courtesy by veVPS.com.
Sure thing, I copy and paste as good as anyone else. Yes, I still have copies of all of the tickets and emails.
And on top of that you have now received payment on a product you have terminated. And it was never logged in, so I’m glad you play by your own rules as there was no violation of TOS or AUP causing termination. The money never left your account but you terminated anyway.
If you were right all along, then why did you terminate it and not be able to justify the charge?
Update: A refund has just been received and a request to “spead the word” was included in the last ticket note. Hmmm, ok.
Anyway, I’m not necessarily satisfied with the outcome. But apparently they updated their FAQ(as said in their last email) to include a refund policy.
On a side note, I have seen enough to notice we’re not talking to English as a first language folks here. So be aware that your communications can and will be misunderstood BOTH ways… even in type.
Direct link shows $8.95, not $7.
Once you fill out the details and update the cart, you’ll see promo code applied and the final amount is $7.
Um!! Is this Trustful? Can Anyone who has tested on that hosting, post the information?
Thanks
@Ko Min,
Some people pointed out that it is new company and it could be, might be, and is reseller of BurstNet. Because new startup can show up to day and gone a few month down the road. Not all resellers are bad but some of us want to be cautious about new provider/reseller.
For example, Most of LEB users encounter bad experienc with Burstnet reseller CPANEL.ME including LEA. But I test out their service last year and not that bad for LEB. They also gave me really cheap discount even offered me 3 months free. Of course they were down every month or other month. But it was useable and it is way a lot better than Hostrail.
On the side note, always look for the red flag that point out by others.
We do seem to find them, don’t we?
Well i buy a VPS form you and a wait more then 48 hour , and finaly a get my broken VPS , Quota problem , without vePortal Panel , so Please refund my 7$ to my paypal account .
thanks
i m waiting for money Charge Back VEVPS . !
I don’t know about these folks but I don’t refund without a request via the ticket system.
Coming to a third party site, demanding and then expecting a refund just doesn’t make sense. They have no account information from your comments here, no proof you’re actually who you say you are and nothing to tie your name to one of their accounts.
There’s a right way to do things and a wrong way.
We have been submitting tickets to Michaël(at least I have), he just ignores and acts like a different person to deny them even when they invite to do so. Scroll up a bit and see whats going on.
Yup, I saw that. Hassouna Zinoubi up a couple didn;t mention that they had requested a refund. That’s why I was making the suggestion.
Hmm, they are using a template (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=1032029), I am not against templates but this looks like a fly-by-night-host, since the domain has been created a week ago.
Anyone have their vps online yet? It looks like they sold out quite fast. I bought one on the 21st and it still hasn’t gotten set up :/, Don’t know if its normal as most vps companies set their vps within 5 hours.
@Neil L:
All veMini vps should be activated within few hour and more stock will be available on friday for this package.
@Hassouna just submit ticket to cancel/refund your services if you aren’t satisfied and cannot help you more with your issue.
Just another bit of info in case he changes his mind and trys to claim he cancelled due to abuse or whatever reason… The vps still has not even been logged into. Who wants it, I don’t ;)
IP space has been already assigned to another client. out of luck! 50 new veMini should be available again by tomorrow (25/03)
Thank you!
You do realize by Terminating the vps and then receiving payment is fraudulent right? So at this point we come to terms on the $7 and I drop the complaint as you requested under the impression that I would get what I paid for… and its terminated?
Nice…. you can’t have it both ways
Update: A refund has just been received and a request to “spead the word” was included in the last ticket note. Hmmm, ok.

Omg, you Forgot a letter (Spead the word) for Spread the word
we’re not talking to English as a first language.
You are kidding right ?
TonyUFN are u twelve ? u are kidding right ?
Drazko and Martin are the same person right ? (notice spacing and grammar)
Drazko: Thats the best you’ve got? I wrote all of those posts from a Blackberry and missed one character.
Martin: Look who’s talking. I’m still waiting for a “lolumad?” from you. hahaha
Glad to see I’m not the one who broke topic.
I am only pointing out all of the grammatical and spelling errors on their site as well as emails. The way in which they use the language shows that they obviously do not use it as their first. That is a fair warning and not derogatory in any other way, but simply a warning that you could be misunderstood over the smallest thing.
I ordered about 8 hours ago and have had nothing yet, they don’t respond to their tickets either…
Not very impressed so far..
They took 1 and a half days to set up my vps. Be patient. Other than that, their service is great so far and they answered my tickets really fast.
Update: Their main website is down at the moment…
Hi,
I ordered the Business package about 72 hours ago and got nothing… :(
I have emailed them via their support system about 12 hours ago and got nothing either.
Because I paid for 1 month hosting, will they offset the 3 days I have had to wait for them to set me up, I doubt it. :(
Unimpressed up to now.
I doubt it, I asked them the same question (about giving me back the time they have wasted setting it up) Although the ignored this in my request and stated “ALL” vps’s will be setup within 48 hours of the order. Obviously they are either a fly by host or having some serious problems. As there website is down 50% of the time..
I think its time for Paypal to hear about this…
At least you got a reply from them, more than I have got, its a shame because I liked the look of the veBusiness package that I signed up for.
Buyer BEWARE!
I signed up and paid with PayPal on 25/03/11 @ 13:22 GMT and it is now 29/03/11 @ 10:08 for the veBusiness server and I still have nothing. This “company” or should I say One-man-band is a sham. Dont waste your time, money or effort on them. Im now 4 days behind on my project thanks to these idiots.
Well as per their FAQ: http://www.vevps.com/faq.php (We do not provide any moneyback/refund policy but we always try out to work with the customers, in case the cancellation reason are valid (Justification eg: servers not setup after 48 hour, downtime on our networks, defective hardware, ect…))
I have been waiting well over 48 hours.
I am posting a complaint on PayPal and asking for my money back.
If you have any issue regarding setup, please contact support and request cancellation refund will be provisioned has the VPS aren’t setup.
Dispute payments without contact before may delay your refund and fee may be applied.
I did this, I contacted your support “team”, read above “I have emailed them via their support system about 12 hours ago and got nothing either”.
I cant see all the praise for your “service” (or should I say lack of service?) that you go on about, is it made up reviews by your few friends or have you created a bot to post your so called good reviews because your too lazy to write your own blog comments like you were too lazy to setup my service and reply to my support request.
Selling 400 VPS services, all 400 want their money back!
There is a difference between selling 400 services and providing 400 services. I bought 1 of the alleged 400 and I got absolutely nothing, even after waiting almost 5 days and emailing support – NOTHING.
Go back to doing your homework.
Have you received your money back? I know there like 5 VPS who has been refunded this weekend since we we’re out of stock.
I’ve just checked and there no support ticket unresponded currently, please update your ticket and post your ticket ID is there something wrong i’ll be glad to review it for you!
Thank you!
I don’t mean this in a negative way but why would you risk putting something of importance on a LEB with no history? If I had something that was business related or had priority I would pickup a Linode or Rackspace VPS no?
I use my LEB for subversion and some other goofing around.
http://www.vevps.com/faq.php
Death Link.
The link is working.
They have been having routing problems, not everyone can access the website at the moment.
There was no routing issue on our ends.
Thank you!
I advice anyone who has ordered to (even if you have the service) to raise a complaint with paypal, as they have done a runner!
Hello,
If you have any issue regarding setup, please contact support and request cancellation refund will be provisioned has the VPS aren’t setup.
Dispute payments without contact before may delay your refund and fee may be applied.
All our VPS are out of stock currently, we have sell around 400VPS within few day, which caused delay.
We are currently setting up more hardware to be colocated in our Rack, has soon its available again the stock will be listed on our website and once again for person who claim “one man show/runner” please keep your comments for yourself you bullshit talk isn’t welcome and you do not have any reference has who run veVPS.
Thank you!
“we have sell around 400VPS within few day” You only had < 100 to start with. I don't believe that for a minute.
You don't answer tickets, you don't respond to communication via email. Many people have been waiting over 5 – 7 days now for their VPS!
Even if you are legitimate, you are certainly far from organized and your English is atrocious.
Do us all a favor and close down and restart when you are ready to run a business.
Thank you.
Hello James,
There was 250 veMini, 100 veValue and 50 veBusiness VPS available at the launch on March 19th at midnight, around 300 VPS will be available again by Sunday thank you for inquiring.
Do me a favor, never try our service has you are not welcome =)
400 sold and only 1 positive comment without any real substance? And no positive comments on the WHT thread referenced up above? Yup, something’s fishy.
(I’m posting this here for others to read, and also because it’s the only way to communicate since my ticket is unanswered)
I bought my VPS before you ran the promotion, I got it after a day or two but there wasn’t and still isn’t a control panel. The first time it went down I raised a ticket and it was more than 12 hours before it was up again. The second time it went down I also raised a ticket, it’s still down and has been now for 3 1/2 days!!!! I haven’t had any replies to the ticket so I raised a paypal dispute (what else could I do?).
If you’d have provided the control panel you said you would I could have dealt with this myself,
“you should be able to login on vePortal by tomorrow until if you have anything to be done on the backend, please open another ticket to support”, you said this 21st March!!!! I opened a ticket and nothing happened, not even a message saying sorry we’re busy but we’ll get to this asap.
Restart it and extend the renewal date by 4 days and I’ll cancel the paypal dispute, I’ll be happier and your reputation might be improved a little.
The promotion has been launched at the launch.
John your VPS was suspended by our abuse department, let me know if we can share the abuse with public.
hah, John you should know better than to try logging in… thats abuse!
Since I haven’t had a response to my ticket asking for more information about this ‘abuse’ I guess you’ll have to give me the information publicly.
I signed up for for the 2gb ram (4gb burst) with 2 cores package. My ram usagae was around 1.5gb consistently (it never went above 2gb) and I was using a fair amount of cpu consistently (around 50-60%). Additionally I was using a fair amount of bandwidth, howver over a whole month the total would have been less than 1/3 of the 3000gb the account promises.
I signed up before the promotion was offered and before the changes to the TOS were made, there was nothing. It’s funny how the ‘abuse’ claim was only made to me after my VPS had been down for 3 1/2 days with my ticket unanswered. As far as I can tell the only ‘abuse’ is actually using the resources that the package is supposed to provide.
In any case, if you felt there was a problem with the way I was using the service you communicated your concerns to me and maybe suspend it if absolutely necessary, that would be the right way to deal with it (in compliance with your own aup).
nothing in the TOS that would cause a conflict with my intended use.
missed a critical ‘could have’, it should read
In any case, if you felt there was a problem with the way I was using the service you _could have_ communicated your concerns to me and maybe suspend it if absolutely necessary, that would be the right way to deal with it (in compliance with your own aup).
@TonyUFN have you anything related with the “john” ? If you don’t have anything related with him nor don’t know him why would you assume he “tried to logged in” that’s abuse.
His servers was online since almost a week, we received abuse report and suspended his VPS.
If he let me share the abuse report i’ll be glad to gave it to you.
Very unprofessional, that is called confidential information, obviously its not just your language that lacks, its your business ethic as well.
Congratulations you just made an ass of yourself.
Hello James,
We replied to the users in cause he already aware his VPS has been suspended for abuse, we have not disclosed ANY data nor abuse or name of the client OR ANY DATA whatsoever.
We have a strong privacy policy and probably more moral ethics than you and your assumption!
Lol James can you read?
They haven’t leaked any confidential information yet. They if John let them, they would. All the big companies does things like this all the time. No confidential information has been disclosed
FAIL
I am actually really happy with my vps so far. I installed webmin (no use really so I uninstalled it).
Neil L, or rather VeVPS: I never mentioned you had disclosed any confidential information, rather the fact that you contemplated about disclosing it on a public site.
So take your childish phrases such as “FAIL” and save them for when you find your VPS offline when you wake up in the morning.
OWNED.
I’m sure that another childish phrase in your arsenal.
I am a student :)
In fact, my vps hasn’t been offline once yet.
The funny thing here is user who “Hate” aren’t using our services, we already have great review from our real customers.
Jealousy…. maybe?
Funnily enough, if you took the time to read your “customers” posts you would have realized I am one myself and not a happy one either.
Making childish comments such as “Jealousy…. maybe?” will not give you any merit.
No, your not a client at all James and hope you will not in future on our other brands as well.
You ordered a VPS that’s all and get refunded has there was no stock left once other VPSes where delivered, so don’t call you customers you are nothing more than a haters.
Wait, what? If he wasn’t a customer then how was he cancelled for abuse? If he was accused of abuse, how since he wasn’t even a customer? You refunded a non-customer?
@Tony
Read Vevps’s post again…
3/4 of the haters don’t even know how to read. I had great service from them so far.
Its funny how your poor language is of similar characteristic to VeVPS, and you seem to be the only one supporting their claims..
STOP MAKING DUPE ACCOUNTS & POSTING FAKE REVIEWS!
your clearly a retard James.
I am not from vevps in any damn way.
I am a student living in Toronto Canada…
*sigh* And folks wonder why I don’t advertise or list my own offers here.
(Actually I don;t do VPSes. That’s the real reason.)
It’s “You’re a retard”. I can’t help but notice that both you and the veVPS rep are unable to use the right “your”. Nice try.
your
No, srw is right:
Your is used with ownership. In this case, it’s not ownership.
To tell you the truth, I am a damn student. I am 13 years old…
Get LowendBox to do an ip check if you aren’t satisfied
That’s funny, because that’s where their sister “company” is – UnderHost (another scam – just search Google).
Wow, a 13 year old who runs two rouge hosts..
Hey, hey, James. ‘Scam’ is a bit harsh and judgmental, no? I can’t help but think “host with highly questionable morals, ethics, and competence, burdened by immature owners and a richly-deserved poor reputation” seems much… more fair, don’t you think? :)
I’d say that was also true but from where I’m sitting it feels like a scam ATM. :)
@ Snape, couldn’t agree with you more
haha funny James, I wish i could run a vps company but im still in school.
@TonyFUN Wait, what? he did not being cancelled for abuse at all.
I was replying to JOHN when “JAMES” commented without any knowlegde just like you did.
You are not able to read an agreement, so i don’t expect you to be able to read comments let me know if you need me to read and explain something else for you.
Thank you!
I just noticed something, you guys ripped heavily the text you have in your footer slider from what we have on BuyVM.net.
Your site was also FULLY ripped by http://nicevz.com which is where I even noticed it in the first place.
Francisco
The template they are using and http://nicevz.com is a cheap template being sold on WHT, and yes it looks like they have copied a lot of information from BuyVM.net
VeVPS are a shady setup, stealing other peoples content and using cheapy templates..
Hatersssss!
quite professional, too!
So HostVI/NiceVZ are BuyVM resellers/partners? :)
Nope, just thieves :)
We have a limited amount of resellers as we don’t approve many.
Francisco
We have not steal anything from your website, we are using a templates sold on WHT.
Hater gonna hates!
We love you anyway happy aprils fools hater!
What are the chances you’ll come up with the same saying of ‘awesome hardware’ as well as ‘easy control panel’ while in a sliding div box? The ‘full root access’ seems oddly close to our ‘full control’.
Francisco
What the hell are you talking about? I’ve no idea who BUYVM is and the templates was purchased on WHT.

Awesome! Hardware
Our servers are tuned for maxmimum performance and utilize Multiple Processors, ECC RAM, and RAID-10 storage and our servers hardware is located in Scranton, Pennsylvania, USA with full duplex 100mbps port.
At minimum, all of our nodes are powered by Dual Quad XEON L5420’s, with most servers being Dual Quad XEON 5520’s.
How did you copy paste all of my other entries in my sliding footer and skip that one?
Oops.
Francisco
Oh sorry, i forgot one:
Awesome! Hardware

V.S
At minimum, all of our nodes are powered by Dual Quad XEON L5420′s, with most servers being Dual Quad XEON 5520′s.
yeah pretty similar, ohh i forgot i’ve also the “Word” bandwidth is that your trademark also?
‘Awesome hardware’ in general.
I can see that it got just a TAD bit under your skin so now that you’ve made a fool of yourself i’ll let you bask in it :)
Francisco
Francisco Dias, is the word “RAM” is your trademark also? because its has been used on our website as well..
Read carefully what I pointed out :) I have very unique mannerisms and used them extensively on the BuyVM website to give a friendlier/welcoming feel to it. You’ll notice it in our footer where we almost poke fun at breaking things.
At least when NordicVPS ripped us Sean had the decency to give credit.
Francisco
But in that case, i never heard of your website before so you won’t get credit for your website, which is poorly designed.
Here the templates link: http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=1032029&highlight=instantvps
Don’t get me wrong i’ve a nothing against you or your company you are just totally wrong here.
Just to make sure “GB”, “Space”, “Price” and “FAQs” are also your own word? Do you think we copied them as well?
Pathetic.
Just give it up, you have made a complete fool of yourself.
James its ok! I love replying here to see how pathetic the next reply will be.
But warning i think “Just” is also a registered trademark of The Great Francisco Dias
Happy Aprils Trolls Days!
Now you just look pathetic. I don’t think you purposely lifted the site, but I do think from the lik you provided, the designer did.
Lots of talk but no substance. How about replying with some details about the ‘abuse’ on my VPS?
Looks like these folks offer up some wonderful customer service here.
veVPS: you missed John’s request up there for more information. Instead of slamming everybody, why not pay attention to what’s going on? Else all you;re doing is proving that you don’t have a clue as to what you;re doing.
You’re supposed to be an adult. Please kindly act like one.
@veVPS
You wrote “John your VPS was suspended by our abuse department, let me know if we can share the abuse with public.”
I’ve already told you that you can (privately or publicly, whatever) and I’m still waiting. As far as I’m concerned you’ve acted fraudulently by suspending my VPS as it was run in accordance with your TOS and AUP.
Your silence is speaking volumes.
after read all the above comments
it’s smelled like a scam,
what can we expected for ?
it’s nothing but a new host trying to get some bucks by scamming some of peeps.
:)
Hey, we just got more stock back =)
haters gonna hate, legit user are happy!
Tru dat, yo!
I’m a legit user who’s still waiting to find out why my VPS was suspended without any notice or even confirmation until 3 1/2 days later, you said you’d provide the reason why but haven’t (I’ve been waiting now for several days). Could it be that you don’t have legitimate reason for suspending it?
It seems to me that the only problem you have with this service is that the advertised resource limits are inaccurate eg you advertise 2gb/3000tb/2 cores but if more than half (or whatever this unknown limit is) is used it’s you count it as abuse and suspend the VPS. That’s fraud, however if the resources were correctly advertised you’d have more happy customers and a much better reputation.
Hello, you has been suspended due to torrent running on your account, we do not allow our service to be used for torrenting nor ILLEGAL purpose. We are currently creating screenshot from your VPS files to show for the community, don’t get me wrong the resource advertised are dedicated to user but we do not tolerate warez activity on our servers.
this bugs me, torrenting is not illegal. you can torrent legal files. just putting that out there, don’t bunch it all into the same group
And like 99.9999% of Torrents are pirates. The only legal torrent I know is that WoWs inbuilt installer uses P2P.
The problem with BitTorrent, Vuze, it that it downloads from 50 people at your max download connection (lets say 8MBPs), then it uploads AT the same time at your max upload (300kbps). Thats what my brother used to do and the internet just packed in.
WoWs installed takes it in turns, you download at 2mbps, then a few mins later you take it in turn to upload. Of course Blizzard allow you to turn this off.
@veVPS you do realise your going to break his privacy, and he could potentially sue you.
Look up. He gave permission.
I find it interesting though that vevps waiting at least 4 days to mention torrenting. He or she could have done that previously without breaking any privacy concerns.
Oh, and there are lots of legal torrents out there. That how most Grateful Dead fans transfer their sharing tapes now.
And OpenOffice uses torrenting too.
I’d provide links but I’m on a wanderingwifi connection and they block everything.
Finally we seem to be getting somewhere.
I was not using this VPS for torrenting or any other p2p activities, what makes you think that I was? In the ticket you mention a screenshot, I’d like to see that (and don’t mind it being publicly displayed here). Either you guys have got it wrong or someone hacked my VPS, either way I’d like to get to the bottom of it.
A prime example is pretty much every single linux distro is torrent based. When the CBC released a ‘web based’ TV series they couldn’t afford/bring in enough bandwidth to service clients so they teamed up with mininova to provide legal torrents of the series.

@vevps
Another 6 days have passed and I’m still waiting for this proof. Why not admit you were wrong to suspend my account and give me a refund?
Looks like they disappeared. Probably going to go ahead and dispute the payment. Very unprofessional.
It’s providers like this that give the rest of us in the webhosting business such a hard time.
Wow. Just wow. Very unprofessional on veVPS’ part and I really think they need to take a public relations and customer service class.
Also appears that they have blown off the contest they were having over at (Can’t believe I;m actually referencing this site) Digital Point:

Now veVPS is a brand of vePortal, I wonder if BurstNET is still going to feel comfortable using vePortal after seeing how they responded to clients here on LowEndBox.
I take back what I said. veVPS is not a brand of vePortal but they make it seem like it according to their footer and name.
veVPS.com is now redirecting to VolumeDrive’s contact page. An acquisition?
HATTERRSSSSSSSS
Pretty bull if you ask me. My vps was offline and then I log on only to find that the vps has been reset and my root password changed. I have contacted them and I’ll see how it goes.
Can we really stop doing that crap please?
HATTTTERRRRR
Seriously. I would thinhk that most of the users here were above dumb-f*ckness of whoever that provider was.
I also had a VPS with veVPS and I the new company an email today. Lets see if I get a reply…
*I sent the new company an email today.
I smelled this one miles away…
On an unrelated note, HATTEERRRRSSS GUNNNAAAAAA HATTTEEEEEEE!
